@Pea-n-Me Have a great trip. Enjoy the fun and happiness. Love the pictures and looking forward to seeing more!

Today is a day off for me. Yay! We just got back from breakfast. Next I renew my license and go to Trader Joe's and Kohl's. Then it is home to chill out until my haircut. I just booked a Trip to Disney for next May and will start some trip planning way ahead of time. Love the planning!

The weather will be getting warmer this weekend. We don't have any plans for father's day. The kids will spend time with their kids. DH will relax a bit as well as do some chores around the house. We saw the kids last weekend and will see them again next weekend. We all need a weekend to get some stuff done around the house. Jasper will like us to be home. He loves his people to be with him.

Happy Friday.

I was going to just hoe between the rows in the garden and spread organic fertilizer,,but the ground was hard from all the rain. I had to get the tiller out and run it between the rows and at each end. Then I made a small trench in the middle, spread the fertilizer, and then hoe'd some dirt back over it. Lady who has those overgrown hedges behind us..her stepson was in the yard working on his car. Of course you can't see over the darn things to talk..so I just yelled over..I said Joe,,someone has to do something about those hedges..and soon..he says I don't know what to tell you (he has cancer so I don't expect him to do it..but there are 2 stepsisters..and one of them has grown sons). I said well I am telling you right now..if they aren't taken care of and lowered within 20 days, then I am calling the County office and registering a complaint. The neighbor herself is an old lady (yes, older than me, lol), but it's ultimately her responsibility since she's the owner. She either has to get one of her kids, stepkids, grandkids,,or hire someone to do it. It's making the back of our yard look like crap, and I'm more than tired of it.
@Snowysmom--I hope you can get in and out of getting your license renewed quickly,,you can't most of the time here,,if you do , its a fluke,,lol..enjoy your day off!

Good morning! Yes, I'm still around, even though I haven't posted in forever and a day. I do still lurk and try to skim/read. :)

@Pea-n-Me I'm so happy you get to go on a Disney trip! I've only been once, but I loved it. I have no idea when I'll be able to go again, but would love to go and see the Candlelight Procession one year. (I think that's the proper name, at least??)

I unexpectedly got the day off. We found out at 3:00 on Thursday that we had today (Friday) off, thanks to Juneteenth becoming an official federal holiday. So we were all frantically trying to reschedule appointments, and do stuff that we were planning on doing today, but we were all very happy, excited, and surprised to get it off this year. We thought next year.

We (okay. My mom) have a small garden. I think it's just different types of tomatoes this year. But nothing beats home grown cherry tomatoes. The store ones just don't have that flavor.

I'm finding myself getting more busy with church activities, and have a couple graduation parties to attend within the next month or so, life feels like its getting closer to normal.

It's going to be HOT today.... up to 102, and that's without the humidity. My brother works on construction sites, so I hope he's able to keep himself hydrated enough today.

Good Morning! 🐥

Before I reply to all of you, I have a perfect Quacker story to share of how God indeed works in a most beautiful and mysterious way and of course, is with us always! Dad and I had ordered from Rite Aid.com a couple weeks ago. I know this may be a little TMI, but I use one of their store brands of Maxis for “that time of month” and the cost of this product is a dollar cheaper online than in store! No, Rite Aid stores will not price match their online prices unlike say Target. So we placed our order which included maxis among other things. Tracking indicated the package was due to come via Fed Ex this last Tuesday.

Tuesday afternoon, when we had not received our package, we checked the tracking to discover it indicated that the package had been delivered! Dad went all-around our building to look yet found no trace of a big brown Rite Aid box. In the past sadly, we have had a few deliveries NOT brought directly to our door but instead left by the mailboxes at the front of the building where truly anyone could take it. This building has no front security gate :(

Long story short is after a call to Fed Ex and being told on their end, the package indeed indicated it was delivered but that they would further look into it, we placed a call to Rite Aid to let them know what had happened. Rite Aid said should we not receive the package by the weekend to call on Monday at which time they would take action and do something for us. Fed Ex did call us back but it was just to once more reiterate that on their end the package was delivered. Dad and I simply thought we’d be calling Rite Aid on Monday. God, of course, as He does always has the best plan!

Late last night, our doorbell rang! Yes this startled us both and was very unexpected. Dad cautiously opened the door and spoke to the man on the other side. Guess who it was? A neighbor from the building next door had noticed a big brown Rite Box sitting by his apartment’s mailboxes all week. He finally looked at the label to realize it had our address on it. So like the kind man he was, he brought it to us! Dad and I both needed a dash of extra cheer last night and God sure delivered it! I hope this made all of you smile!

I didn’t mention one other very cool twist to this. Dad has an older brother Joe, who lives in IL. They have become a little closer over the last several years than they had been. When Dad first saw the neighbor last night, he told me he did a double take for a moment because he really thought it was somehow his brother! (Dad’s brother has health issues and probably would not be able to travel all the way here) I told Dad this morning that I believe God purposely had the neighbor resemble, Joe, so that Dad would pause (and a tiny bit more comfortably so) to listen to what the man at the door had to say! And to receive a good night from God.

Onto my replies :grouphug:

I hope you will have a ton of fun today, Pea! I do look forward to hearing about your WDW trip. Thank you for the pictures and check in! I am adding to this after reading your post. I always have a big smile on my face entering the DL esplanade! There is indeed a magical, renewing, and plain happy and thankful feeling just to be there! Hugs, my friend, and have FUN! :) ::MickeyMo::MinnieMo

Kirby, prayers all went well with your mammogram. How nice of your neighbor! Hug, my friend. Looking forward to WDW planning is indeed a fun and positive thing! I hope you and your family will have a wonderfully fun time when you’re able to go there.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend, Sweetpeama!

Yay for some Tigger cheer, Lynn, thank you. I’m glad to hear for a change you have planned a relaxing day, my friend. ETA: After reading your second post, you are supposed to be resting!

Thank you and your teens for your volunteer work at church, Sparkle! That will be one of the goals of the Smile Squad Ministry, I have in heart to get going one day, to truly encourage better connection among all ages at church.

Enjoy your day off and haircut, too, Snowysmom! Aww, yes our dogs always do appreciate our company! Always paws and prayer for Jasper.

Lovely to see a post from you, Allison! Keep cool my friend and thank you for your volunteer service!

Hugs and Friday Blessing to all!

Good afternoon everyone.

Been a busy couple of days. We, as in my priest's wife, decided we should continue the food distribution. Wednesday I had to drive to the one pick up center for a carload of food and yesterday had to go to the other center for a 2nd carload of food. Then I spent the afternoon helping there including packaging 20 pounds of sandwich steaks into smaller packages. We still have another 20 pound box for next week. I left a half hour early as I had to take my one grandson to the doctors. We are going to give it another couple of weeks but had only a couple people stop in for food. I personally think the time frame is bad, 11AM - 1 PM on a thursday is not a great time and since we aren't getting the dairy boxes anymore since the program was discontinued I think we should try a later time or maybe on a saturday. Of course I have no say, I am just a vehicle to pick up foods to them.

@Pea-n-Me Have a great trip. 5 more months and I will be there. I am hoping the Candlelight Processional is back in some form when we head down but you get to see the topiaries from F&G, I am jealous. I was there the same time you were last year. I got home a couple days before they shut down.

@FlyingDumbo glad you had a Good Samaritan deliver your package to you. My area has been plagued by package thieves.

@sweetpeama - that's funny about your uncle and facebook. My mother absolutely hates all social media and will not go on Facebook. It doesn't help that my aunt tells her some of the things my daughter posts. Her language can be a little "salty" at times according to my aunt. Of course my mom thinks it's absolutely horrible. I just ignore her.

My daughter has been in Florida this week and she has posted pics on Facebook. The grandkids had a great time, even Anthony with his broken ankle. They saw a rocket blast off yesterday while at the beach, they went to Cocoa Beach. As they were leaving there was a shark attack and evidently there was one a couple days before that. The boys may have liked seeing a shark but I am kind of glad they missed it. She did have an "incident" at Blizzard Beach when they went there. They were trying to get closer access parking and the CM was "rude" according to my daughter. She did speak to a manager who agreed that it should have been handled differently. The CM insisted she needed a placard. As my daughter pointed out you can't get one for a broken ankle and they don't have wheelchairs in the parking lot. The manager gave them all some ice cream so all was well. They will be home tonight and I can't wait to see them and hear about their trip.

QOTD - TV shows. I probably have had a few that the cast felt like family. Big Bang Theory to an extent because it really is like family meals at the holidays. My one brother is a chemist, one is a geographical something (not my favorite brother) and the other is a PhD in Nuclear Biophysics. They argue about some of the most boring things including comic books and role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. I am the odd ball of the family, I majored in Medieval Literature and History. My favorite show right now that I get invested in is Outlander. I think I am on the 12th run through of all 5 seasons. The chemistry between the actors on that show is amazing.

QOTD - Fathers Day traditions. When I was growing up we had no traditions although it was one day my dad would be home usually. He worked 6 days a week at 2 jobs. With my own kids we didn't have huge celebrations because we never knew if my husband would be off. He worked rotating shifts. I don't think the day meant as much to him because his own father passed away the day before his 7th birthday. His idea of a good father was working hard and having me home so his kids weren't latch key kids.

Now we go to my son's house for a barbecue. My son and husband are very close, they always were. This year will be special because it is the 1st Father's day for my grandson. We are hoping to get a really good 4 generation picture of the 4 "Jims" and of course a couple with my other grandson, if he allows it. Kyle is autistic and has to be in the mood to have his picture taken. We don't push him.

Hope everyone has a good afternoon.

nice to have neighbors like that, when I used to live in MA , I had a neighbor like that, I would come home and find all kinds of veggies sitting on my back step
We do have good neighbors, a lot of them them have moved/died over the 25 years that we have been here, newer ones that have taken their place we're not as close to but the ones next door are the greatest. The GK's love them as do our kids. We bought our lot from them, they were selling off some of their property way back then. We're so glad we moved here!

I have no idea when I'll be able to go again, but would love to go and see the Candlelight Procession one year. (I think that's the proper name, at least??)
I hope you get to see one! DD and I took a girl's trip to WDW seven years ago during the week after Thanksgiving. We got to see Neil Patrick Harris and then listened in from the sidelines another night to Whoopi Goldberg. It's very moving.

@FlyingDumbo, so glad you received your package. God does work in mysterious ways!

I personally think the time frame is bad, 11AM - 1 PM on a thursday is not a great time and since we aren't getting the dairy boxes anymore since the program was discontinued I think we should try a later time or maybe on a saturday.
I agree with you. My SIL volunteers for St. Vincent DePaul, not sure that is the correct name, maybe it is Catholic Charities) at her church and they hand out food and necessities on Saturdays. Locally, though, we do have food programs during the week but it is heavily advertised through social media. Not sure what the attendance is like.

DD had a grocery pickup at Kroger this morning so I went along and picked up a thing or two that I had forgotten for our Father's Day meal. I've done my household chores today so I have my weekend free.

QOTD - Do you like to eat leftovers? Are there leftovers that you don't care for/avoid?
I've gotten to where I don't really like leftovers anymore. There are a few things I don't mind reheating and eating for lunch like a hamburger, spaghetti pie, hot dogs, baked/fried chicken but for the most part I would rather just eat a sandwich than leftovers. I don't like to get to go boxes at the restaurant any more either. I just share a meal with DH which eliminates us bringing any extra food home.

Its sunny and a warm 85 outside. I shut the windows and turned the ac on before we left to go to CVS. They started some new system in there yesterday and everything is all mixed up. For some reason they filled the Farxiga 2x, which meant the insurance co would get billed 2x. The girl tried to remove one,,but removed the wrong one..and I had to wait while the pharmacist redid the whole thing again. Then the girl at the register did a double take when she saw the total price for 3 scripts..out loud she said holy s***,,and then realized what she had said,,and looked so flustered, but I was the only customer in there so I just laughed. Pharmacist came out and talked to me and said when you go back to hubby's cardiologist in 6 weeks,,tell them the cost of these meds is just more than you can do every 3 months (on top of all his other meds), and ask them to contact the manufacturers on your behalf. He said a lot of times when they do that..the manufacturers arrange very deep discounts on the drugs to help patients out..so we will most certainly be doing that!

Mona..I am glad you had a nice neighbor who looked and realized the pkg belonged to you. Fed Ex should not have just left it outside someone's mailboxes.

I decided to get the leafblower out and clean off the front porch. Moved the chairs and cats food dish, and used that to sweep it all off. Then got a pail of water with detergent and cleaned the siding out there. I can do the rest of the house with the power washed, but don't want to do the porch and get the floor and outdoor carpeting soaked. Looks much better now.

We stopped at Big Lots to look at coffee tables on the way home..they had 2, but they were not what we were looking for. Stopped at Burger King and got lunch with coupons. So will be having something light like hot dogs or breakfast for dinner.

I am off to take a short nap , hubby is already sound asleep in his chair

Have a nice afternoon

Hey all! Busy days here, with DD#2's family visiting. We haven't done a lot, just some walks, and then they went to her BFF's house for a few days, so we have had peace and quiet since Wednesday. They all went to the zoo, and to their complex's pool/splashpad, and played in their yard with some sprinkler toys. They'll be back tomorrow, and will be with us all week until next Saturday. Then DD and SoIL will be going to Universal with another of her BFF's for the weekend, and we'll have DGS#2 all to ourselves. We all meet at Epcot on "Monday week" (or the Monday after next, if you don't speak southern Georgia).

Dinner tonight is hot dogs, french fries and spinach and carrot salad with lemon dressing.

I missed a few QOTD again, lol. Let's see:
Tv shows: no. I have shows that I really like to watch, but none that I feel like they are 'family'.

Father's Day: nothing special. My dad wasn't very big on it; DH says it's a 'commercial" holiday (like Valentine's Day, haha). We'll probably take DGS swimming at our pool if it's nice, after we go for our morning walk; then have leftovers (we are making chili tomorrow...90 degrees and chili :crazy2: but DD requested it, so daddy has to make it for her  ). DH already has his gifts from DS (3 new tshirts). I might make some chocolate chip cookies or oatmeal cinnamon chip cookies.

Leftovers: yes, we eat leftovers. I'm not big on leftover fries/tater tots, but love leftover mashed potatoes or risotto (made into cakes and fried in butter); and fried chicken, yes please! Pasta too, and things like baked beans, chili, soups, stews. Things like hamburgers or hot dogs, no thanks; they tend to be dry after reheating. I'll eat leftover chicken or steak cold in a salad, or I'll reheat the steak and use in an omelet.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Good afternoon, friends.

It's warmed up a little but thankfully is not as HOT as it was earlier in the week. Still T-shirt weather for me in the apartment :) Last night's delivery was indeed a Blessing! I'm glad you all enjoyed reading about that. I'm sorry to hear of package thieves in areas that's not good :( I really wish this building did have a front security gate but the owner still refuses to spend the money on one. We have gotten packages before left by our mailboxes. A couple times Amazon delivered to an upstairs apartment nowhere near our downstairs unit or on a staircase. No true complaints. So extra thankful during this pandemic to all delivery people!

My current church offers food distribution Monday and Friday mornings from (I think) 8 or 9-1. A Saturday option makes good sense for families or those working during the week. Thank you, Taz Dev for your volunteer work at your church. I would LOVE to post pandemic get to view the candlelight processional at DL with you and other Quackers! That would mean so much to do. I have said this before but am still so hoping that a positive to come from the pandemic will be that DL extends the CP (the way WDW) does to at least a week if not more and offer more than two times. Pre pandemic, it was only offered the first Saturday and Sunday nights of December at 5:30 and 7. I would have loved even a 4pm option!

Not a leftover person but also eat so simply that I really don't often have leftovers.

Hope all of you are having a good Friday!

QOTD - Do you like to eat leftovers? Are there leftovers that you don't care for/avoid?

Love them!! (Mostly because I enjoy skipping the planning and cooking for a day. :teeth: )

My favorite leftovers are grilled chicken (because I can use it for a lot of different dishes) and pizza. (Cold pizza is one of the best breakfasts!)

We had a nice breeze today that helped alleviate the heat, it was quite nice outside this evening, didn't even break a sweat while out watering which was nice.

DD and GK's spent the evening across the street with the family over there so DH and I tried a new to us mexican restaurant. Needless to say we will not return.

Getting in just in time to say good night.

We got up and drove to the Wilmington, DE waterfront and rode bikes to the city of New Castle on the Delaware River. A very nice trail but I was having trouble with the gears on my bike so it was tiring. Rode 13.5 miles. Traffic was terrible and it took way too long to get home. I have been tired the rest of the day.

After lunch, took the bike to the bike shop, where it worked fine. They lubricated the chain, sold us some lubricant, but no other charge.

During the course of the day I got three loads of laundry done and frosted the cupcakes I baked yesterday.

Dinner was tuna burgers on the grill, bought frozen at the grocery store. Then we had a fire in the fire pit to burn lots of branches and sticks from the yard. The cicadas are winding down.

@Pea-n-Me. thanks for the pictures. The first one of the gateway is the one that says "You are here!"

I unexpectedly got the day off.
So did DD. Luckily, she didn't have any visits scheduled to reschedule. Her DH finished school Tuesday so they took the kids to daycare then made an unexpected adult only trip to the beach.

QOTD - Do you like to eat leftovers? Are there leftovers that you don't care for/avoid?
We eat them because we don't like to waste food. Some food, like pizza we buy larger to have leftovers. We do have a "two reheat rule." Anything that has been reheated twice gets thrown out. When I was little, I would eat my mother's potato salad for breakfast the next day. I also like cold pizza. When the kids still lived here, occasionally dinner would be "Carol's smorgasbord." That's when I reheated all the left overs and everyone could eat what they wanted.

@Kirby, no Mexican leftovers? Sorry your dinner wasn't good.

Did not sleep well last night as kept waiting till DH got home from work to drift into a deep sleep which he did around 4 am. Had him move the towel load from the washer to the dryer to discover that the washer ended up on pause. Not happy with 16 year old for not moving the laundry like I requested be done when we got home last night after picking her up from work and again reminding her around 11 pm because she could have restarted the washer at that time. Instead I ended up getting up about 8 to restart the washer in between 2 of our 3 cats thinking we had a revolving door and one thinking he had permission to dump the trash can. I finally told him I was not getting back up. Wish the 3rd cat would show back up as she went out on Tuesday around the time I went to pick up 16 year old from work and still is not home. Meanwhile I am trying not to cry because she is the one who really likes to sit on laps and get all sorts of attention and stuff.
Ended up running out of time to post this before taking off for bowling today and then making a run to walmart in the smaller town near me to pick up cards and a few other items. Ran into a family that used to be in 4-H with my girls but who left the club we were in together and were not in for the last couple of years. Visited with them about them possibly coming back and joining the new club I am helping to start though they did not seem to interested at this time the mom said she would pass my number to anyone who asked about joining 4-H for next year. Also ran into an old family friend of my DH's family and it was wonderful to exchange a hug though we did not have a lot of time to visit as she has to get to one of her grandkids and I needed to catch up with 13 and 16 year old who were able to go though the crowds at the front of the store to the card aisle walking without a cart than I could in one of the drive carts. The friends I ran into were coming from the other direction and did not walk in front of me it was everyone else.
Thought about getting some subway but decided against it when I spotted the person who was spending their time blocking the middle of the aisles when I would try and pass not letting anyone pass on either side of them blocking the aisle to get to the ordering counter. Instead I picked up a salad and a couple of JBCs for me and a $4 bag for 13 year old at Wendy's for 13 year old. 16 year old had gotten subway when she went out to the car alone earlier while 13 year old and I did the grocery part of the shopping. I did not feel like getting into a look your as rude as all get out with that particular person.

Good morning all. The weather outside is very weird. It's 5 in the morning, the temp outside is 77,,muggy feeling even though there is a breeze. Then they say our high temp for the day will be 78? Chance of storms this afternoon, but I just watered everything in case it doesn't. I want that plant food down into the ground asap, and I don't trust the weatherman's predictions.

I agree with @Breezy_Carol that the cicada's are finally winding down. The noise is almost tolerable if you are outside,,but I am stepping on them all over the place, some live, some dead. They are in my herb boxes, they are on the backs of the deck chairs, they are still on a lot of the trees,,and at 5 am,,there is one who must be the only one of them awake, and it's making a noise out there all by itself.

When hubby gets up, I will strip and remake the bed,,then I want to make some potato salad to go with baby back ribs and corn for dinner tonite. He decided he wants either lamb burgers or hamburgers for dinner tomorrow..so will defrost which one he decides on later.

Have a nice Saturday morning~~

Edited at 9:08 am--am I the only one up this morning? LOL! Kitchen floor is swept, rugs shaken outside. Bed stripped, mattress turned and rotated, and fresh sheets. Other ones went in the wash and are dry, folded and put away, as is the mattress cover and the cats blanket. Made dry rub for the ribs and then wrapped them in foil to go in the oven later, washed some potatoes to bake and husked the corn on the cob. Made hubby his breakfast..and now I am going to sit and do nothing for a little while. I never did fall back asleep when I laid on the couch. So maybe a short nap later.

Good morning.

It is 77 here also, and overcast. Calling for thunderstorms this afternoon. I hope they hold off until at least 3. DD and family, DS and his wife, and DH and I are meeting at a brewery in northern Harford county for DS to give DD her birthday gift and to celebrate Father's Day. Each family is bringing food to share. Should be fun as long as the weather holds. We have been texting this morning about who is bringing what.

That's it for plans for the day.

I stayed up to 12:30 am finishing American Dirt. I highly recommend. Good, compelling story of a mother and her 10 year old son fleeing the cartels in Mexico to get to the United States. I didn't think I'd like it but ended up giving it 5 (out of 5) stars on GoodReads.

QOTD: Leftovers:

Leftovers aren't unusual around here, but I'm a day after or maybe 2 days after and then done type. I will often make a bit more at supper for our lunches the next day or to get a second supper out of it.

So, how is everyone enjoying their weekend so far? It's nice here, although cloudy. I think we may get a bit of rain later. Both boys & husband left around 3:30 this morning to go fishing. I've ordered a few dozen crabs for this afternoon, and then tomorrow afternoon my BIL & SIL & niece will come over for a bit of a Fathers Day get together - just pizza. Youngest has to head back tomorrow morning, and eldest is going over his gifrlfriends family, so it will be a chilled out day for us.

Went to the farmers market this morning for the first time in forever. Picked up some corn on the cob, scallops, shrimp salad and a steak & guinness pie for the freezer.

Welp, I still have a few household chores to finish - have a good afternoon everyone. And Happy Fathers Day!

Good Morning,

Weather here is cooler but sunny to come :) Dad is going to get his haircut for the first time since the pandemic this morning. God-willing in another month or so, things will be even brighter than they are now, and at that time, maybe I can get my own hair trimmed!

Dad got himself some Father's Day flowers from me yesterday which seemed to make him so happy, yay. I am so pleased Trader Joes still has such nice flower bouquets and at a good price--much better than at the supermarket. I also gave him his Father's Day tablecloth because I will be putting it on our card table this evening to set out his presents for tomorrow. He's having a nice long Father's Day weekend which brings me joy.

:grouphug: 🌷to all

Its 80 degrees out and just started raining..getting darker by the minute. I have a feeling we are in for a storm. I just took a hot bath, and am going to take a nap. I am so tired I can't keep my eyes open. Laid on the couch to take a 10 min nap at 12:15, so I could make lunch for 12:30..and woke up at 1? I guess I overdid it this week, and it's catching up with me
Ribs and potatoes are ready to go in the oven at 3 on a low temp..and corn is sitting in it's pan waiting to cook.
Have a nice afternoon everyone

@flyingdumbo127 Glad that your father is enjoying Father's Day weekend.

Leftovers: I sometimes make enough for 2 dinners like when I make a batch of soup or pasta. Other than that I am not a big fan of leftovers unless it is pizza or a wrap or sub. DH usually eats the leftovers.

My day off yesterday went a bit awry. As we were going to AAA so I could renew my license, there was a flashing sign on the town common say, boil water alert. They found e coli in 3 of the 11 tests they did. They never did a reverse 911 call which they do for things like, it is shred it day on Saturday or trash day is Friday this week. Did they think we didn't need to know about the water issue? I will admit I don't watch the news alot so I missed it on the local news. I will need to keep an eye on that once a day now. So we went looking for bottled water and had to go to the next town. They had plenty and were putting out alot more. They were getting ready for in the influx of people from our town. 2 hours ago we just got the all clear for the water. You don't realize all that you use the tap water for. I had to empty the coffee pot, empty the brita pitcher and toss the filter which I had just changed. Then I had to put spring water through the coffee maker to clean it so I could make coffee this morning with spring water. I had to be sure the dog's water was changed and washed his dishes with spring water. I did not have to throw out any food as no leftovers in the fridge. I spent my day off busier than if I had gone to work. I did get my haircut yesterday so I feel and hopefully look alot better. My hairdresser asked me when I was going to color my hair. LOL! I did it this afternoon so I feel good about that too.

We went to DGD last soccer practice for the season today. Then we went back to their house for lunch. Then we played with the kids for a while and came home. I have been working around the house a bit and now trying to chill out. Supper is leftover pizza and salad.

I hope Pea-n-me is having a great time at Disney.

Happy Saturday.
