Usually, I just highlight and add to multi-quote, then insert them all at once and reply by clicking the cursor in between them and typing. Occasionally, if I just want to send a hug or the quote is too long, I’ll jot something on a sticky note beside the computer and use the @ feature.

Exactly what I do!

Aw, so glad you had a tasty lunch treat, B&B.

Enjoyed reading all the replies. Good QOTD, Carol.

The sun so far is still hiding here but thankfully it's warm in here due to the last few days of warmer weather so that is indeed a Blessing. We just got a huge box of Kleenex from Walmart delivered. Waiting on two smaller packages for my Dad also from Walmart and regular mail. I hope this week each of you gets some sort of needed delivery, treat, or plain happy mail :) Have a good afternoon, friends.

Oh! I totally forgot my "exciting news"!
When I drug myself into the Costco mid day on Saturday to make a return I noticed the shopping complex at the mall has a new Trader Joes! I didn't go in, I didn't want to temp fate given how fairly painless my return had been at Costco --- but folks were streaming in & out of the place like crazy. I've never lived in the vicinity of a Trader Joes ( or Whole Foods, or dare I dream...Wegmans) although, not to brag to much, there is a Harris Teeter 45 minutes south of me ;)

So yeah, somehow the most exciting thing in the past few days appears to be that a Trader Joes opened up 45 minutes north of me.

Agreed, it is rather sad hahahaha!!!!

Next to the last thread on page 1!

Enjoy Trader Joes, Easyas. Dad goes there once every couple weeks for some things. We do have a Whole Foods that in non plague times he would shop at also but their prices (possibly due to location here) were always very high. Now Dad will get himself some things at Sprouts instead.

Wishing all of you a good night!

I just highlight and hit the quote button as I read thru, then when I respond and post I hit the insert quotes or whatever button it is that shows up.
Or, I quote the entire post if it's relevant and not to long.
I never knew you could do that! Thanks for mentioning it.

Today has been a cloudy day, temps in the lower to middle 60's during the day. It's down in the 50's tonight. Will be like this for the next couple of days. Unusually cool for us this time of year. Lil Joe had a t-ball game this evening at 6:00 pm. We were expecting rain, it came as wind blown mist. All the ball games were called at 6:30 due to lightening in the area. Our day long expected rain hit hard about 7:30. No severe weather tonight, just rain and maybe some hail.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I have cleaned out another area, this time the drawers and cabinet in our bathroom. What a mess it was! Lou Lou loves bandaids and thats where I kept them. Now she has her own bandaids in her bathroom, no need to go to mine anymore.

To add to last Week or should I say the weekend for my crazy life and this is not even fair week.

Saturday the girls had required Quality Assurance per the club organizational leader's rule. This was brought about because one year a parent took the wrong kid so one kid could not show an animal at fair and the club organizational leader was yelled at by the parent. So now everyone needs to take it regardless if they take an animal project or not. By MT 4-H regulations every member who shows an animal project has to take it at least once. By county regulations members must take it the first year they show and depending when they start once as a begginer (8-10 years old), once as a junior (11-13 years old) and once as a senior (14 and up). However if a member does not start taking an animal project until they are 12 they do not have to take it a third time just twice as a junior that year and then again in 2 years as a senior-age is determined as of the start of the 4-H year which here is October 1.
It was very annoying to have to be up and down at the stock yards where they were also doing market goat, market hog, and market lamb tagging for fair at 9 am for this 90 minute meeting. Tagging started at 7:30 am and when we pulled in a few minutes before 8 the line was already out the parking lot to the road. Luckily we were able to go past and go park up by the building. Meeting started half an hour late because people were climbing up the stairs to the upper level and getting signed in not to mention our county extension agent had to sneak away from tagging for a while. By the time our county extension agent got there she said the line of trucks and trailers was out past the road onto the street and when finally left after having to sit in our car for 15 minutes to get a gap between truck and horse trailer combinations so I could back out and then go out through the middle part of the stock yard parking lot the line was backed up over 3 blocks long-not bad for tagging supposed to be from 7:30-9 am. They had a number of kids who missed at least the first part of QA who had to stay which met the helmet workshop that horse kids have to take on the same schedule instead of being from 11 to 12:30 was going to end up being later. By how much I don't know as I didn't hang around to find out.

Good Tuesday morning QUACK'ers! Going to be a sunny 65 degree day today, which means yardwork must be done, whether I want to or not. At least it's been 6 days since I had to mow, the cold nights and rainy days slowed down the grass growing a little.

My brother in law's almost 96 year old Mother passed away early Saturday morning,,they are having a very limited visiting and funeral, but we are staying away. Due to hubby's health issues, Sister in Law said she would rather us not take any chances at all. So I will wish them love and peace from home while they are at the services.

Have a nice morning, back later to see what y'all are up to!

Happy Tuesday
i planted some zinnias and cosmos from seeds awhile back, they sprouted right away, but now seem not to have grown. Ideas anyone ?? I watered them again and moved to a sunnier window, hoping some survive so i can plant them outside in late may

Same thing happened with my chive seeds. They sprouted quickly..but are just sitting there. I just moved the rest of my tomato plants out into the little greenhouse a few min ago. I am sure the sun is going to make everything start growing again. Just make sure you don't overwater your little sprouts,,or they will rot from the bottom and won't grow!~

Good morning.

DH up setting the sprinklers at 7 this morning trying to get the most grass possible by Sunday.

I never knew you could do that! Thanks for mentioning it.
I just learned that in the past couple of months and it sure makes things easier.

My brother in law's almost 96 year old Mother passed away early Saturday morning,,
Sorry for your family's loss.

I bought some marigolds yesterday and planted them around the tomatoes. And a plant called Lantana, because it was pretty and I had a pot that had some pansies and needed something else.

Good morning everyone.
Pleasant day here, sun is shining and it's not freezing. Was able to get a load of laundry in AND cleaned the dog's food area in the laundry room this morning before heading to the office. Not terribly busy at work today, so I will take a moment in a bit to get another audio book and/or podcast to listen to during our road trip to FL. I do need to go run a few work related errands in a bit, too.

I bought some marigolds yesterday and planted them around the tomatoes.

My husband planted some marigolds around the tomatoes, too!

We went from full sun, to a dark gray sky that looks like it's going to dump down rain again. But there is none in our forecast. I hurried and weedwacked, mowed the whole lawn, and took some of the trash down to the street for tomorrow. Going to sit and rest and do nothing for awhile. My bad knee started getting stiff about 3/4 of the way through the mowing, but I forced myself to finish. I used to plant marigolds around my tomatoes too, but haven't done it in a few years. We have fence around the garden so the animals can't get in there anyhow
Have a nice afternoon all

So sorry, I missed this and only went back to re-read thanks to Pollyanamom. Sorry to hear about your families loss.

The sun is maybe peeking out a little bit. I'm grateful it's warmer in here right now. PollyannaMom, bubble wands are such fun! How cool you and the kids made your own. I will have to look into how do that one day post pandemic should I be involved with church kid activities again.

Wishing all of you a good afternoon!

Welp, we have adopted a 'good attitude', which we will need as we drive south from MD towards FL (Goal tomorrow evening was GA state line if possible)...can't determine if the reports of gas shortages are hyped or not??? I mean, I realize they are in some areas and cases very real. But - well, we will see! Of course, our Hilton reservation at Disney Springs needs to be canceled by tonight, and when I called to see what could be done in the worst cast scenario they told me their entire system was down and I'd need to call back in a hour because they couldn't access our reservation.

Well, there is nothing like a good adventure!
