Good sunny Sunday morning all. Going to be in the 80's today. Another night where I don't sleep much, think I did too much yesterday without realizing it and my back feels it. Cold does seem to finally be going away though.
Hubby says we are going to pay off the last bit we have on our car loan and get something a little bigger,,he's looking at a Subaru Forrester..anyone have one that can give opinions on it? He wants to get certified preowned, I don't want something older than what we have now (2014 Ford Fiesta--which only has 21000 miles on it). Might be the last car we get, so I want something decent, with good mileage and a good warranty.
Got through all of my to do list yesterday except my beauty routine..only had enough energy last nite to get one of us all cleaned up, and I made sure it was him, lol. So giving him a haircut, washing his hair, and my bath/shave/shampoo is all that's on my list for today.
Have a nice Sunday morning

You may want to take into consideration the cars that have newer safety features on them, such as collision avoidance and features that are not on your 2014 model.
I'm older and 2 years ago I bought a much smaller hybrid, but it was loaded with features I didn't know I 'needed'.
Now, I feel safer when I drive. Blind spots when changing lanes - my car will beep as well as flash a little symbol in the right or left mirrors if something is too close for safety. This is just one example.
I'm not recommending any particular brand or model, as many or most newer vehicles now have models with similar features available, such as cameras, blind spot detection, backing assist, lane assist to help you avoid hitting stuff, or being hit.
These features have been great as I got used to them. At first I wanted to turn them off because I was not accustomed to a vehicle beeping at me and telling me what to do, but after a short time, I actually think I drove more safely, because I instinctively knew or was reminded to look and listen, and if I missed something, the cars features didn't miss it and warn me.
Yesterday my middle aged daughter drove me in my car. The car beeped at her repeatedly, as she drove because she has become accustomed to driving less carefully. But, in time the car makes you a more careful driver. I sat quietly and realized it doesn't beep at me, because I've become more aware of my driving and stay in my lane, don't cut off people because I don't see them and the list is long.
Good luck and enjoy whatever you decide on.
Oh and I love the hybrid and getting 40 to 50 miles per gallon. I'm not ready for an electric car yet, but with more infrastructure and maybe faster charging, maybe in a few years.
