Not to this event. My niece who is getting married was in DD's wedding so too many same people have seen it at a wedding.

We are having hot dogs and beans for dinner. Exciting.

Re: the CT scan I had. I have been having some pain/pressure in the tailbone area. Been going on for a year now. Not awful but uncomfortable to sit. Saw my GYN back in the summer then talked to my MD, which was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. I asked for a PT referral and tried that without success. Went to new MD who ordered and x-ray that showed DJD in the lower lumbar spine. After continued discomfort, back to GYN who ordered the CT scans. I had been having other vague discomforts which caused to the have worrisome thoughts. So the scan was basically negative for anything but enough DJD which GYN thinks would account for discomfort. Good news - nothing fatal to worry about. Bad news - no quick fix for the discomfort. But it puts my mind at ease.

Well, I must say I'm very disappointed!

The XXL Hawaiian Disney shirt I bought Duke does not fit. It wouldn't fit our other dog either, although he wouldn't be caught dead in it....So no picture, I'm going to send it back. Buying clothes for my dog is as difficult as it is to buy myself clothes!

The HM&M movie tonight is one I may not have seen: Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses. I'll watch a little of it to see if I want to DVR. Tomorrow on Hallmark is A Godwink Christmas Meant for Love. I honestly don't even remember whether I saw that or not. Did any of you?

@Breezy_Carol I have had good luck with some of the catalogs/online shopping - Talbot’s, JJill, Coldwater Creek, Serengheti, Northstyle, and another that I love whose name escapes me right now but I will post it when I figure it out. This is a good time to buy sundresses. And a Maine wedding sounds incredible. Good news on the CT scan. (I worry, too.)

@lynxstch It must be so frustrating to still be having the pop up issues! I haven’t had any problems I use an iPad and have an Ad Blocker on. But a couple of weeks ago we had to shut the Ad Blocker off for something, I forget what. But ever since, I have gotten ads on here every day because the Ad Blocker somehow now has to be turned on every day ever since we messed with it. So they are still there and on some other sites unless my Ad Blocker is on. I have to remember now to turn it back on daily I am going to have to play around with it next week. Have you tried going on the Dis on a different computer to see what happens? Do you ever use an iPad? I love the one I got it’s 12.2 inches and I got the Magic Keyboard with it so it’s like a laptop. I got the new iPad mainly for Zoom meetings, but I needed something anyway because the old iPad was having issues, as well, with some of the pop ups despite the Ad Blocker. I don’t understand it all but maybe a change might cure your problem, idk.

@TazDev, I always see a lot of myself in your posts, lol. I used to wear orange on St Patrick’s Day when I was younger, too. But it’s because where I grew up the Irish and Italian folks liked to tease eachother that way. I have both in my ancestry but it was kind of fun to go against the grain a little. I hear what you are saying about the shot. I hope you are able to get it, though, because Covid isn’t kind to people, either. As long as you get your shot somewhere where they are well prepared for an emergency you should be ok. I am happy so many people are able to get their shots now. And I’m glad you’re enjoying your new kitchen. It’s been about ten years now since we did ours and it’s hard to believe that much time has gone by. But I still love it and remain happy with all of the choices we made. Next up we have to do a few things in the kitchen in our in-law apt when we finally get around to it. Mainly new cabinets and countertops, but it’s just a small area. Your kitchen looks pretty good size and you have a nice amount of cabinets!

Not much going on here, still having a little problem with my eye. DH was off this week so we had some days off together, which was nice. Ate out for lunch a few times - wait, just about every day, lol. Gearing up to work the weekend now. Have a good weekend, everyone! Quack!!

Hey quackers ! I wore my brown with pink polka dots rain boots today on my 3 appointments since it was raining so hard all day. Glad to be home on couch wrapped in 2 blankets . Ive also started reading “ The engineer’s Wife”. About the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. Mostly fiction with some nonfiction in it. Quite enjoyable so far. Awhile ago I read “ The other Einstein” about his wife and how she might have been the one to solve some of the complex physics topics or at least cowrote some of his papers. He treated her like dirt. I got mad at the book . Hoping this one turns out better. I am so glad not to have been born in the mid 1800s - 1900s when women had to be quiet.

Good Friday morning. We had a chilly night last nite, rained some more. Today is only going to be mid 40's. Spring begins Sunday and the weather had better start acting more like it, lol. Hubby didn't sleep well again last nite , which means neither did I. On top of all his other problems, now his allergies are starting to act up as more things start growing outside. He just can't win. I am all stuffed up again, and I don't have allergies, so I don't think my cold was quite over with yet.

No plans for the day as of yet, maybe when my 'head fog' clears I will develop a plan of action. For now, it's back to sleep for a little while until he wakes up.

I've got a meeting to prepare for and I'll be on the road for the majority of the afternoon. Eldest is putting in a offer for a house (to be built) today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed for him! And us, we had enjoyed having a empty next till he came back

Thankfully, no rain is right! Actually, right around the corner from our office on 301, and only about 10 min. from our house. Shocking what a modest 'starter home' goes for these days... They'll be at least another 6 months living in our basement apartment though, which is fine. Farm labor thru the summer months is a-ok w/ me! Technically Chestertown, but closer to Church Hill or Crumpton but you know how wonky these rural mailing areas can be.

I was looking online at dresses. I found this one I like. And this one. I would have to try them on though.

Hi all!

My blood tests came out clear. I was being tested for diabetes, but my mind was all over the place and thinking there could be so much worse things they could find (I'm like that) as I'm having a lot of medical issues the past 4 weeks, so after 4 terrible weeks of worrying, I can finally put my mind at rest now with this medical issue. It'll probably just resolve itself once I'm in a better state of mind, hopefully.

My boyfriend does drawing (lions), and he made a beautiful picture for our 5 year anniversary, which isn't until May, but he finished it earlier then he thought he would, with being furloughed on and off for the past few weeks.
So that was a nice surprise.

Weather is bad here, so not going out.
Will go get a snack and then watch the latest episode of Superstore ^^

I am exactly the same. I feel relief that my scan only showed DJD, arthritis. I was sure it was something much worse. Glad your blood test was clear.

Good Morning Quackers,

No mail ever showed up here last night. We shall see what comes today. I am expecting an Amazon package delivered through the post office.

Thankful to have read some positive health updates Prayers for your son, Easyas. I would enjoy being able to customize or help plan not a house because I would not want the responsibilities of home ownership but definitely an apartment or condo.

Just ordered Baptism gifts off Etsy for Carter. I checked the number of previous purchases and good reviews. In fact, one had the exact same thing on Amazon for more money. I bought a set of 9 wooden blocks with his initials and one each of the baptism date, dove, and cross. And an engraved compass with his name on the front and a message inside.
