Well my list won’t be very long for housework this week.

I did manage to clean the bathrooms, make my bed every day and keep the other rooms relatively neat! It’s a busy work week with shifts at the hospital in addition to three Zoom events which I had to use my phone for and isn’t enough for what I need.
So for months I‘ve been torn about buying a new laptop as mine has been dead for years. Do I get a new PC or do I repair DD’s old MacBook we have that’s broken? In a way life would be easier just sticking with Apple. Maybe I should just try to get Zoom working on my old PC (that every once in a while decides to work, albeit very slowwwlllyyy) and keep my fingers crossed? (DH said no way.) To make matters worse my iPad was also having issues so it struggled with just the news and I haven’t been able to use it much or even do updates, so I’d been thinking about replacing that, too. I’d also been re-thinking the TV in our bedroom as I can’t see or hear it when DH is sleeping as it’s on his side of the room and I never want to wake him up.

Ugh.
So yesterday I went shopping and literally as soon as I saw the iPad Pro with keyboard I knew it was the right solution for everything, all in one. So I bought it and got that functioning today but am still learning how to use it. Loving it so far. DS installed Disney Plus and Netflix on it for me (as he was drooling over it

) and I had gotten some Bluetooth headphones a few months ago so this will open up a whole new world for me (pun intended) to be able to watch shows I’ve always wanted to watch - by myself, without worrying about what everyone else wants to watch (though we’re mostly flexible here). So that made me happy, as I don’t have to
worry about it anymore.

The thought of having various plugs and chargers and set up and storage and learning to use all these different things was stressing me out a bit. But this is like coming home.

I told DH today as soon as I saw it in the store, in that very second I knew it was the exact thing I was looking for. All in one and something I’m already very familiar with. Ah, the little things that make us happy.
