I'm glad people enjoyed the picture!
: Maybe I can post one from time to time.
QOTD: Yes, I enjoy shopping. Even grocery shopping! I love looking at things and comparing or thinking about how I would use something. But I've become rather selective as, like many people, we have too much stuff already, so I don't want to add more or not use something if I can help it. For instance, I was in a country store a couple of weeks ago, one of my favorites (can you tell I like country stores?) but I didn't buy much because most of the stuff there was stuff I already had as I've been there many times and not much had changed. So what did I buy? I bought some pine scented incense, two kitchen gadgets (a corn on the cob scraper and a new spatulas similar to one I have that's broken), and I think I also found some hand sanitizer holders that you can clip on your bag (putting one in my pocketbook and one in my work bag!). My bag felt empty but it was fun looking around!
I'm not a huge clothes shopper but recently I took the ride with DD to take her boards so I had a couple of hours to kill. There happened to be a Tj Maxx store there so I got a few things for myself but I was able to put aside some things I thought DD might like and need for job interviews and training classes and such. Luckily she liked just about everything when she came into the store, and was able to buy several outfits to have on hand, one of which was a cute dress and shoes she wore to her job interview, and she'll wear the rest in a couple of weeks when she starts orientation. She's not a big clothes shopper so that worked out pretty well, and it was relaxing for me too. Places I don't enjoy going too much are places like Home Depot or Lowe's. I remember going with my father when I was little and it seemed endless, plus although they have nice things, there aren't many bargains to be found, and I love a good bargain!
