Good morning--welcome to March! I don't know where February disappeared to, it went by so quickly.. We are back to late Spring weather again today and tomorrow. 70 degrees. Calling for rain on Friday.

I can't believe that some of you are getting snow, especially in places that don't normally get it. Hope it warms up for you soon Mona.

Trash was picked up very early this morning, I'm glad I put it out late yesterday afternoon.

Today is grocery and errand day, tomorrow is supposed to be the start of the remodel, so I need everything I have to do, to be done today.

SIL went to Morgantown again yesterday, 3'rd trip since Saturday. This time it was for an audiology test, where they told her she needs hearing aids, seems to be the topic for yesterday, lol. Saturday she was told she needs a knee replacement, and Sunday she was told she needs hernia surgery. She's getting as bad as Summer with issues. Summer hasn't called with any news from her tests, so Don will have to call her today. He's still not feeling that great. I wonder if it's possible that the 2 weeks of increased meds worsened his kidney issues, that's his main complaint right now.

@Snowysmom Sorry about your tax issue. You would have thought someone would have mentioned it to you after Chris passed. At least now you are aware and can change it for this year.

Don't worry. That pic was zoomed in and cropped after the fact. We were quite a distance from him in my uncle's boat. They are fascinating to see, though, just so ancient looking.

We took a boat from a pier in town that seated maybe 30 people and was covered with windows, flat bottomed. Only maybe 10 people on board but when we got back big crowds were waiting. It was very pleasant.

@Judique Glad the endoscopy is over. Now you will know what is going on and how to treat it. Kenny has been on prilosec since his teenage years. He has severe acid reflux to the point that he couldn't breathe one night as a teenager and we had to call the ambulance. He has periodic endoscopies to be sure everything is OK.

I'm happy to have it behind me as well. I never considered my situation severe as it rarely gave me problems. But I also knew something was wrong just still don't see it as acid reflux. Since January I had 3 episodes and one resulted in my expelling what was in my stomach. The other two felt like a slight lump in my throat and a sip of water made the feeling go away and I continued to finish my food. The 2nd issue is when my throat swells or closes up. It's scary and it is correlated to my allergies: food allergies, sulfa, codeine, msg sensitivity, some shellfish such as scallops and whatever else I've not had identified. I've been tested and also have other allergies that are not things that I eat, moreso environmental.

Happy March Everyone

Warmer weatherall-around. Thank you all for your contuining heating suggestions and prayers. Dad and I will be looking more carefully at options online today. He will talk with a fire fighter when he drops off cookies tomorrow. I completely agree +that any space heater needs to be plugged directly into a wall outlet. Dad doesn't necessarily agree. I'm hoping the fire fighter he speaks with will remind him of this. Often times a reminder from someone who isn't family can stick more. I'm honestly still not sure were we could plug one into to begin with so it may not matter. I'm definitely hoping for some unexpected March

Brrr... I'm jealous of some of your warmer temps. It snowed again this morning but didn't stick on the ground. The trees and bushes looked pretty though. Now it's just freezing and windy.... blah. Temp says 38 but feels like 29°

Dolly is out having a cold jaunt around the backyard. I'm half in/half out keeping an eye on her. She jumped over the fence again the other day so she's back to semi-supervised yard time. Hubby thinks one of the neighbors, who may have a mental disability, is calling her over and giving her food when she goes over. He heard him calling her one day when he was out with her and the last time she jumped he saw she was eating something on the ground right in from of where the guy was sitting. DH is going to talk to the owner next time he sees him out there.

A little stressed about leaving her this weekend with DD but I'm sure she'll be fine. DD is having some friends come over Saturday while we're gone so Dolly should be occupied with the new friends. LOL

Good morning, rained overnight, but the temp is sitting at 53. Going to low 60's. Calling for chance of rain today, and 99% for tomorrow. I don't know if Dave is going to want to start working with rain in the forecast. He won't be able to cut anything outside. And I can't be running the carpet cleaner every night with a path of footsteps going through the house.

Got errands and grocery shopping done yesterday, so that's out of the way, just in case.

Happy Thursday!

Wow, was it nice out yesterday . Broke a record and reached 75 out, it could stay like that all winter! We did have a brief thunderstorm in the evening and another one is expected tomorrow afternoon .

Didn't really do anything, got caught up on my recorded shows. Survivor started again last night so I had to make sure I was ready for that .

PollyannaMom - beautiful hotel & pool, what hotel is that? Looks like you're having great weather, definitely jealous!

Have him grab a roll of Ram Board at Lowes - it will protect your floors and he can come and go in & out and not have to wait out the weather. It's pretty heavy duty. We've been using it in our office while undergoing some reno and it holds up to 20+ people walking over it all day.

Quiet day today, but I feel like I got quite a bit done around the house over the past several days. The chi is better now, at least on the main level in our house. Still have a ways to go with some of the other areas. And one washing machine is broken, have to call in someone for repairs. Of course there is a wet load stuck in there now, will have to figure out how to get it down to the other washing machine.

Off to grocery shop in a little while. Not doing a huge order, just picking up a few things we need. I don’t want to be putting groceries away all night. Working a stretch over the weekend so would like a quiet night tonight.

Good afternoon. The day has been busy. I was in the office early, by 6:30. Then came back to the condo, took a walk since the rain stopped, vacuumed, put together a moving box and packed up space paper products. I had lunch, talked with Kenny, read condo docs until my eyes crossed ( cannot understand legalese so I sent them to Jeff to look at too. He works with this kind of stuff with business deals.) Then I took another walk and here I am. I have been somewhat depressed, crying at the drop of a hat including at work. I think all the changes that I am going through along with missing Chris like crazy makes it hard. I feel like I can't make a decision to save my life. I see my therapist on Tuesday so good timing. I am finding it more difficult to be alone and knowing it will most likely be for the rest of my life, it makes me sad and scared. One good thing about the condo I am looking at is that I can go to Kenny's house easily and even do sleep overs if I want.

They are talking about a snowstorm Friday night into Saturday. I am in the 2-4 inch range. I am glad I did the little grocery shopping I had to do yesterday. I am trying to eat the food that is in the freezer and cabinets. Sunday I will go bring some stuff to Kenny's. He does not have the kids this weekend but it is nice to talk with him.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

each of you are having a good Thursday and as always staying warm out there!

The sun is slightly out here today. I wish it was warmer inside this apartment. Dad and I so far haven't found any wall sockets here in the main/living room we could use to try a heater. Back room where I sleep has a couple but we need the warmth in here during the day. Thank you all so much for all your extra care and prayers. One day when we are I pray able to move somewhere with safe to use heating, we absolutely won't take it for granted that's for sure. Meantime prayers!

Dad did drop off cookies at the fire station this morning which meant a lot to be able to do again. He said the fireman he gave the cookies to said they looked awesome. May he and his colleagues enjoy the indeed. All good just cold here. I am simply and sincerely grateful to God in all.

Lucky Rabbit, my friend Barbara who lives in Glendale (which for everyone is an hour from me) shared with me yesterday that a friend of hers that works in neighboring to Glendale Burbank, said it was snowing! No here yet except on my print blanket. Please stay warm! AuntieMe3, you do the same!
