QS question

Hi all,

I have a QS question that I hope won't get me flamed. Our family is going to Disney soon and we have two rooms (one for the grands and one for us). One room has QS dining plan and one doesn't have any dining plan. Since booking the dining plan, we have planned a few meals off site because we are visiting other places. This will leave one room with quite a few extra credits.

Can we use more credits at a QS meal than we have people in the room reservation? Otherwise, we will lose quite a few credits. Or should I look into cancelling the dining plan?

I'm not trying to break the rules. I just can't see losing all those extra credits for time we aren't going to be there.

You aren't supposed to use ddp credits for people who are not on the ddp. You also can't use more credits in a transaction than the card shows are on the plan. Ex: card says there are 2 adults and 2 children on your plan; you can't use 6 credits in one transaction.

Thanks! I'm less than 45 days out. Can I delete the dining plan now and get my money back?

You can remove it now. You'll get hit with a $50 change fee but you'll still get the bulk of it back.
