We live in the middle of nowhere. The houses are too far apart to trick-or-treat. Nobody has their lights on this street. I always buy the Wonka mix, just incase someone does decide to come up our 500 foot driveway. And they are the kids favorite, so they usually eat them.
My youngest will be a pirate and my eldest a ninja. This is for the school parties. We don't go trick-or-treating since I would feel like a heel driving my children to a neighbor we don't live in to get candy from strangers. We live too far from the malls to do that. And the zoo is way too far for just trick or treating.
yup that us. we have no neighbors. we usually drive to my mom's, my mil's, my bff and bil/sil. so 4 stops total. it works out great for us. because he does not get a ton of candy. he likes to go to those places because he gets to hand out candy at those houses and he gets to see all the costumes. he is going to be a fireman this year. i'm still looking for some kind of boots for it. he has the coat, hat, fire extinguisher. any ideas for the boots?anyone??
blech!!! to this day I won't touch orange soda!!!
yup, me too! i failed the 1st time and had to do the 4 hour one. yuk-o! i puked all day everyday of my pregnancy, so it was hard to keep that syrup down. all i remember is the lady doing the test telling me, "holly, if you throw up now we just have to start over from scratch!!!!!" looking back it was not so awful, but at the time it was the worst ever!!!! funny, huh?!
