PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

I wonder if the dues will relatively stay the same or go down? It seems like with the amount of points that will be sold, the dues should be relatively stable at current PVB rate

I do not see it going down but maybe it will help to keep its increases in line what they always have.

Remember, the PVB association is now going to be responsible for more of the shared costs given they comprise more occupancy.

But, that should be tempered by how many total units and occupancy added. At least that is my guess.

While in active sales I expect the dues to have some of the VGF magic and stay the same. We just had 2 large increases getting ready for this.

We shall see. The shared expenses are determined by Disney and passed on to DVD.

They then have to decide how much to ask owners to pay and what they choose as their guarantee since they don’t pay on the points they own that are declared.

Plus, any increases prior to this would have nothing to do with this addition nor legally can they.

So, if PVB has gone up, it’s based on cute t not future costs.

My guide called me since I was on his interest list and said that as of today I won’t be able to add on Oct 1st since they aren’t registered yet to sell for Puerto Rico residents. I would’ve thought that since it shares the same association with current Poly it wouldn’t be necessary to re-register. Wonder if it is the case with any other state or international.

lol - 2+2 = whatever the boss wants it to

I guess we will see soon , you are usually correct in your thinking so I won’t bet against you.

I definitely think it will remain reasonable, but off chance the increase is more than typical in comparison to others.

Sunday evening to following Sunday morning.

I can't put my hands on the exact date chart right now. But Week 1 is always the first Sunday of the calendar year. Then count forward. If you buy Week 16, check in day would be the 16th Sunday of each year.
I'm pretty sure DVC uses this redweek chart with a Sunday start for all fixed weeks ... https://www.redweek.com/calendar

Those points charts are scary to me. Poly is now pricier than Grand Flo, Grand Cal or Aulani. Kind of ridiculous IMO.
Do I agree? Absolutely. Am I gonna do a small add on anyhow? Probably :)

We already own there, so that is part of the decision, since a few more points will get us the ability to book a 1BR (key since our kids are getting older and we need - ok, want - more space). I don’t know if I would otherwise.

At least the dearth of new points coupled with the small footprint of Poly Tower will likely mean cheaper dues 🤷‍♂️

If you are one who is looking at Poly chart and then looking at BLT chart and see how much cheaper it is for your 1br and 2br units (heck you can get a 2br for the cost of a 1br at BLT vs PIT a lot of times depending on room cat), you might wanna get moving on getting a BLT resale. With the refurb going on, once its revealed what those rooms will look like, and Disney doesnt screw it up, I can see BLT resale jumping in value.

If we had some spare funds I'd be looking to get some points at BLT right now.

Okay, all. The stars are aligning for my first DVC purchase. I have been on these boards since 2008, and the only thing that stood in the way of me and DVC is gone as of this Friday: my wife! Also, my previous home closes on September 30th, so I will have plenty of cash.

So if on October 29, I purchase 150 direct points, with a Feb use year (planning on Spring trips), I will get Feb 2024 points? But I will only pay prorated dues from Dec 17 on? What will that look like?

Thanks
