Glad it wasn’t just my guide that had the wrong dateMy guide responded to my email saying for my Feb UY, it will be Feb 2024 points and that she will be busy with correction emails.
Now?? It has always been the most expensive in the seasons that we travel. I didn’t think it would suddenly go down as Disney knows people want to stay there and will charge accordingly. Those points charts are scary to me. Poly is now pricier than Grand Flo, Grand Cal or Aulani. Kind of ridiculous IMO.
I wonder if the dues will relatively stay the same or go down? It seems like with the amount of points that will be sold, the dues should be relatively stable at current PVB rate
While in active sales I expect the dues to have some of the VGF magic and stay the same. We just had 2 large increases getting ready for this.I do not see it going down but maybe it will help to keep its increases in line what they always have.
Remember, the PVB association is now going to be responsible for more of the shared costs given they comprise more occupancy.
But, that should be tempered by how many total units and occupancy added. At least that is my guess

lol - 2+2 = whatever the boss wants it toWe shall see. The shared expenses are determined by Disney and passed on to DVD.
They then have to decide how much to ask owners to pay and what they choose as their guarantee since they don’t pay on the points they own that are declared.
Plus, any increases prior to this would have nothing to do with this addition nor legally can they.
So, if PVB has gone up, it’s based on cute t not future costs.

I guess we will see soon , you are usually correct in your thinking so I won’t bet against you.
I'm pretty sure DVC uses this redweek chart with a Sunday start for all fixed weeks ... https://www.redweek.com/calendarSunday evening to following Sunday morning.
I can't put my hands on the exact date chart right now. But Week 1 is always the first Sunday of the calendar year. Then count forward. If you buy Week 16, check in day would be the 16th Sunday of each year.
Do I agree? Absolutely. Am I gonna do a small add on anyhow? ProbablyThose points charts are scary to me. Poly is now pricier than Grand Flo, Grand Cal or Aulani. Kind of ridiculous IMO.
In what way?Curious about the future of the 2 bed bungalow
I predict it will continue to be overpriced even when you throw in the included alarm clock from the boats. BTW I don’t think the snoooze button works.Curious about the future of the 2 bed bungalow
At least the dearth of new points coupled with the small footprint of Poly Tower will likely mean cheaper duesDo I agree? Absolutely. Am I gonna do a small add on anyhow? Probably
We already own there, so that is part of the decision, since a few more points will get us the ability to book a 1BR (key since our kids are getting older and we need - ok, want - more space). I don’t know if I would otherwise.
This is good news. Without 2024 points, I could see no reason to buy until 2025…unless incentives brought the price significantly lower.I just called my guide and he definitively said we WOULD get September, 2024 UY points. He didn't know if MB would be offered as an incentive, but he hopes so.
