PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

I know the season is almost over (and they had more pressing things to worry about lol) but I wish they had it decorated for the holidays. It looks amazing though- can’t wait to be there Tuesday!
I'll be there too! Just happened to get a week off of work the same week the tower opened so might as well stop by 😅.

By the way, am I missing something on the 2BR penthouse villa? I don't see why it costs so much more than a standard 2BR.

My thoughts, too. The living room is bigger, but 🤷‍♀️

ETA I went back and watched a couple YouTube videos with all of the room types in one video. That theme park view penthouse view is simply incomparable, but the preferred view? Why don't you just book the two bedroom theme park view and save the points? (Note: I don't believe they showed a preferred view during today's media preview, I am just assuming based on the view descriptions.)

What I really love about those new rooms if that they've used textures and patterns to convey the theme. Not only it's classy, but it will also age better. Compare it with cheap rooms decorated with pictures and cheap decor (not naming names).
Inside the new tower is fantastic. From the outside... not as much.

Watching the YouTube walk through and then see that a lot of the Theme Park Penthouse view availability evaporated.

The place looks great. Puts VDH to shame…..
I actually disagree pretty strongly with this. Other than the penthouse view what does this penthouse 2bedroom really provide over a standard 2 bedroom? A smidge more space, a larger dining table, and an extra tv? I really struggle to find the justification in the points they’re charging for these rooms.

Now comparing that to VDH - you get a 3rd bedroom there, a significantly larger balcony, an indoor/outdoor fireplace, an enormous outdoor sectional and eating space, and vaulted ceilings. Views might not be as good, but the room itself? Hard to compare

I agree, I'd have a hard time springing for the penthouse over a standard 2 BR.

At that point I'd just say forget it I'll book a bungalow or save some points with a cabin :X
Spouse and I were waiting excitedly for pictures of the penthouse hoping that there was some wow factor that would draw us to book there. We both looked at the posted videos yesterday and were like “meh.”

For us the bungalows (and CCV cabins) have much greater appeal and we are very much looking forward to our next bungalow stay!

Not for everyone of course, but I wouldn’t underestimate the appeal of a top two floor guaranty.
I feel sorry for the CMs. People will book 2BR TPV and expect it to be similar to penthouse view. Reality is you may be put in a lower floor less desirable. IIRC, there will be someone who is lucky enough to get a studio on the same floor as the penthouse.

Sadly, CMs are the ones dealing with expectations. Floor location is only guaranteed for those penthouses.

“Other than the penthouse view”…

The whole point is the penthouse view from every single room.

I just think the entire tower puts VDH to shame. It looks like a more premium product. But, this is coming from someone who loves Aulani and currently owns 950 points there….

Yes, it’s like Ocean View vs Ocean Front in Hawaii.

Just want to say that I feel like the lower floor views are equally good in their own way; helps with the castle scale.
