Yeah, I stay Poly CL, third floor Hawaii building a lot - and I'd use the same words y'all are using above about the castle/view - it's breathtaking every time. Just a little bit of height and the right angle makes a ton of difference.

BTW, my guide mentioned in his reply email that base price will go up by $10 pp on 02/11/2025.

My guide confirmed this yesterday. Base price increases $235 in February.

We are really happy with our Fall incentive purchase. Not looking at it from a min/max perspective but from the perspective of we wanted to own direct now and feel we did well with our timing. Can’t wait for next December when we are going to kick the tires ourselves.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that Cove pool is tiny.

My fear is that the main pool will be even more slammed than it already is. They really need to institute the SAB wristbands and Castmember checks here.

I am surprised we haven’t heard reports of anyone asking that at the PVB meeting.

If I was a PVB owner, I’d certainly let them know it is needed.

Heck, I’d be okay with them making the feature pool at VGF MB required,,,or wristbands…I think that is an extra expense owners and guests would support.

I did ask, at the very first individual meeting. They said that they would monitor the pool usage, but that they were not planning on wrist bands at this time. if I understand correctly, I thought I read that the pools actually fall under hotel control. So the operational decisions for the pools lie with the resort, not DVC. Does that sound right?

Ohhhh … that makes sense. There are zero park reservations available for AP today. My niece is singing in the Candlelight procession tonight and I forgot to make a reservation. I was able to get MK by refreshing the screen over and over. Now I have to badge in there, then park hop to meet my family in EPCOT.

I know the season is almost over (and they had more pressing things to worry about lol) but I wish they had it decorated for the holidays. It looks amazing though- can’t wait to be there Tuesday!

I know some good editing can make virtually any video look great, but this truly does look amazing! Hoping the colors I'm seeing in this video is more of a true indication of what we'll see in person vs what we saw a few months ago with the color palette. Everything we saw a few months ago looked very tan and washed out. This looks like it has much more color than before, which I'm a big fan of.

A+ on the interior design, color scheme, and textures/carvings.
A+ on the room designs and functionality
A- on the Wailulu restaurant and bar. Really wish they had hot breakfast options to go
D on the exterior architecture design fitting in with the rest of the poly
C on the pool and "splash pad". Has anyone even seen the splash pad functioning with water? I'm starting to get worried the splash bad is more or less just something for kids to climb on, and there's no water or fountains.

I haven’t seen the splash pad functioning. The tour guide told us that the water streams have motion activated lights in them, so when a child puts their hand (or feet) in the spray it will light up. As a splash pad connoisseur, it is very underwhelming for the 3+ crowd. The super tiny littles that are just learning to walk will be entertained, but anyone else that is accustomed to Riviera or Kidani are going to be disappointed once the fascination with Moana wears off. It’s just not interactive enough.
