Put 20-something son my MDE account or his own?

DS22 and his girlfriend plan to join us at Disney in November, the first time for either of them since the existence of MDE and Magic Bands. I currently do not have him (them) in MDE. Should he create his own account or should I add them to my account? We are staying at the Swan, he will be purchasing ticket media prior to 60 days and I will be making fastpasses for everyone. The other 4 of us have APs linked and Magic Bands; we will likely order some for the two of them ahead of time. What are the advantages/disadvantages of putting DS22 and girlfriend in my account versus creating their own? I want fastpasses to be as easy for me to do as possible.

It's easiest to add them to your MDE. They don't need their own MDE at this time.

It would be better to add them to your family under MDE. This way that will get all of the fast passes that you have (once you do their fast passes) and you will be able to put them under you ADRs.

Have a great trip!

Have them make their own, invite them to your friends/family. And then you can select them to include in any FP selection by just selecting their name. The same you'll do with everyone else.

Them having their own individual accounts will make it a lot easier if they plan to hit the parks by themselves or want to change anything around. And avoid any issues down the road that could arise with them not having their own MDE and having it go through you. Really no point in them not having their own.

My 20-something DS has his own account, but he does have an AP. To date we have traveled together 3x and have had no problem coordinating our FP. If your DS is planning to just get expiring tickets and spend all his time with you it would be fine on your MDE but if he wants to do some time on his own be easier for him to have his own.

Makes no difference either way, really. Last year DD was on ours and this year has her own. Hasn't changed how we do ADRs, FP+, etc. at all once you add them to you Friends/Family.

He's 20 and old enough to start his own WDW trips soon. Why not have him open his own account? It's very easy to link everyone. I just traveled with a party of 11. Everyone except the 3 youngest have their own accounts. We just linked everyone up. It was simple to do.

He should have his own account. When my daughters were each 18 they registered for their own.
