Can you do this at the resorts, or are the beds stationary? Specifically, we will be staying at CBR and I'll be sleeping with DD, who's a year old. I'm worried about her falling out if the bed isn't against the wall.

I havent stayed at a place on site where they were movable, however, you can requeste bed rails(free) and you can use those, thats what we use for our daughter

Just an FYI:

The beds at the All Stars are movable thus allowing you push a bed against a wall and giving you more usuable floor space. They also have room under the bed to store a few small items and bags.

The beds at Pop are on a platform they do not move. They are enclosed so you cannot store anything under them.

It has been a while since I stayed at the other Disney owned resorts so I do not know about the beds at those resorts.

Have fun at Disney!:wizard:

At the CBR, we stored our luggage underneath the bed which was great because they were raised off the floor. Although I didn't try it, I think that means that the beds could be pushed against the wall.

:) We have always requested bedrails for our granddaughters and they have worked out fine. I believe most beds are stationery, depending on where you are staying. Good luck!

I always request bed rails and they work great. They have always either been in the room when I arrive, or they arrive within 5 minutes of calling to ask for them. I usually travel alone with my kids, and have always had the delivery person also offer to install the rails for me, even though it's very easy.

On a related topic, does anyone know if the bed rails can be used with the sofa beds, specifically the ones at SSR? We will be there in a few weeks in a one-br and my kids will be sharing the sofa bed, and I'm afraid of DD3 falling off since she is used to rails.

CSR the beds are movable. That's how we fit the roll-a-way in between the two beds.

The beds are moveable at CBR but they are heavy watch your back!. :goodvibes ps they are really comfi too. We stayed at POpC for 5 nights and I tossed and turned and couldnt sleep. As soon as I hit the bed at CBR after moving there I slept like a log!
