Reports from attractions magazine are that PUSH the moving tomorrow land garbage can may see his last day Sunday. Nothing has been confirmed yet. Disney is also getting rid of the Ziti sisters in Epcot. Is this something people like or has it faded away! I missed PUSH on my last vacation but it's always cool to see.

Wasn't a fan of Push, but did like the Ziti Sisters. Not really sad though since it is just part of the WDW Attractions "Circle of Life". Disney needs to constantly refresh these kind of things and Push, at least, had long overstayed.

Someone posted about this on Instagram - which let me to check the DisBoards! #savepush - looks like it has been "confirmed", saying "looks like management got their way" :(

Never got a chance to see or find PUSH, but I've gotten selected a couple of times for the Ziti sisters performance and my kids still laugh when we watch the video. Sorry to see them go.

Oh man I haven't seen Push yet and I marked it down for my April trip!!!! Dang.

Another thread reported Miyuki leaving too?!
That's the most disappointing for me :(
I haven't seen her for a while now, has she been gone?

Yes, but is it actually being replaced with anything (with entertainment value, so not FP+)?

I am sad to see PUSH go. Rides are fun, but what makes Disney really special is all these little opportunities for magic.

I agree these little things Disney always does are one of the reasons that a lot of people always go back.

Oh come on...

You know full well that things like this have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with "refreshing"

It is about saving one person at $10 an hour...

I constantly get criticism for not giving enough credit...which is true...
But for gods sake...can we give criticism where it's due?

This bothers me, but though I loved PUSH, even after the upgrade last year (better speakers, motors, and music), to me, he didn't really seem fit into a theme. So I understand his being discontinued.

What bothers me is that he's not being replaced with something potentially better, like R2D2 or something... anything. At least, not that I know of. Very sad.

How disappointing! My oldest has had a couple memorable exchanges with PUSH. Although after watching the video she took of their visit with PUSH a couple weeks ago, I'm not surprised. People just let their kids crowd around him and constantly put their hands in him the entire time. It was annoying to watch.

These are the things that bother me. Getting rid of these little "extras" that (cheaply, i might add) really add to guests' experiences. Just by the handful of posts in this thread, you see some people had interactions with PUSH while some never did. And the randomness is a big part of what I like about them. When you go searching for these things...it's not the same experience. Before I knew about PUSH we had a real memorable - and most importantly, unexpected - experience with "it" when it was having a little fun with our son. We had a similar experience back in the day (pre-kids) with the living statue in France messing with my wife once. Never had an experience with the Ziti Sisters, but I'm sure it's similar.

Some of the larger scale cost cutting initiatives (such as generic Disney Parks bags in the shops, generic napkins at the CS locations and carts, etc.), while I prefer they didn't happen, I can understand them and they really don't detract from our experience. These types of senseless cuts do.

They continue to eliminate these types of 'Disney Magic' such as when the pay phones in England were disconnected.

I've never been a fan of PUSH but I will be very sad if Miyuki goes.

Granted I would understand it. She probably could make a lot more money and have more freedom doing private parties and shows outside of Disney.

Aww that's sad. Push is so cute. He always gets a little crowd and giggles from the kids. Last time I saw him I could see the guy talking and controlling him. It was pretty cool. I had no idea he was so close. I assumed he was in a building somewhere.

PUSH will be missed by me. :(

PUSH was always a fun thing to locate in the parks. If I found it, I would let my Service Puppy-In-Training interact with it. So much fun to see the pup's reaction and PUSH's reaction.

Will be sad to see PUSH go...

Interesting that you say that. I've mentioned this story on the boards before here it is again. Years ago while traveling with a fully working service dog we sort of encountered PUSH. We were walking through Tomorrowland and I hear "bark bark..bark bark, come here doggie!" or something to that effect. I looked around for the source and it was PUSH. It never sat well with me that the "handler" of PUSH would do that, and I have it on good authority that CMs are trained never to distract a working dog. The dog paid no attention to it and wouldn't have reacted to someone calling him doggie anyway but the principle always rankled me.

I used it as a chance to teach the pup to ignore such distractions. There was never a time where I let PUSH get into the way of training. Usually we wait for a bigger crowd around him so that he doesn't notice the pup "learning" about him. It has proven effective and the pup ignores him if we ever wander past him again.

I'm not surprised by this move. Remember this falls under Disney Entertainment and every time something new comes in, something else has to go. What's new? Anna and Elsa are. This also can explain why it might just be Tinkerbell only that moves up to Town Square Theater (where the princesses used to meet) and not an additional friend of hers.
