Three Things...Gratitude Thread

The oceans everywhere they’re so pretty all the different shades of blue I could sit and stare at the ocean all my live long days I can’t swim so please don’t put me in it but I love looking at the ocean regardless if it is violent or as calm as can be I just enjoy looking at the ocean and sailing on it I think it’s absolutely beautiful

Mountains mountains covered in snow often look blue I don’t wanna go climb them but I do enjoy looking at them again I think they’re so beautiful there’s nothing I enjoy better than laying on a beach and just looking out at the ocean or sitting right at the edge and digging for seashells

Blue skies I do like them with puffy white clouds I liked it so much I painted a bathroom like that I think it’s so relaxing and so pretty and it’s a fun game to look at the clouds and try to imagine what the clouds look like but a nice blue sky is a beautiful day preferably warm

And I must have a thing for blue clothes because predominantly that is the color in my closet and I just so happen to be all decked out today and nothing but blue clothes
And for some strange reason that has been a predominant color car choice for me and it is not a lucky one it’s called bad luck blue and I’ve tried to shy away from it the last 20 years but in my earlier years almost every car I had was blue

GO BLUE!!

My sister and brother attended UMaine as undergrads, I met DH in grad school here when we were doing our master's degrees, DD got both her BA and MSW at UMaine, and DH and I both work here. UMaine is truly "the college of our hearts!"


Other blue things... the ocean, the bright blue sky, my favorite Disney sweatshirt, the hydrangea bush in our side garden.

Another fan of blue skies! We don't get many here, lots of cloud cover all year, so when it is blue it is a good day. I love FL blue skies!

My old blue car. It is my favorite car that I have ever had. Her name is Bluetaful.

Evening all,

1. Blue skies - another vote for this as clear blue skies just make a day a lot more enjoyable.

2. Blue denim - it's a classic for a reason. I do like denim in other colours but own so many things in blue.

3. My old blue car - my previous car before my current one was a beautiful bright blue and I miss it so much. It was such a nice standout colour and so much nicer than the boring grey I have now. Needless to say my next car will be going back to blue! Below is the car/colour in question, its the dealer photo before I bought it as it never looked as clean as that in real life!

The forecast was rain as vendor market ended... this early morning prep was ready and grateful ans and a product that could get wet

Happy Thursday

#1 - FLOATING IN MY POOL - I’m counting the days until I can do this again. There are no words to describe how much I love floating in my pool on a super hot summer day.

#2 - WATCHING TV OUTSIDE AT NIGHT - I love this, especially in the fall when I get under a blanket and make a fire with the fire table. It’s great!

#3 - NEW YEAR’S DAY - The only day of the year that I don’t get out of my pajamas all day. I just sit around and watch TV all day. I honestly think that this is my favorite day of the year.

Working on my jigsaw puzzles, especially if there is sunshine streaming through the window.

Evening all,

1. Lazy days - don't get these very often, but the lazy weekend days where you don't have anything planned, have no chores to do and can do whatever you want. Mine usually involve chilling out in my pjs reading or playing a game.

2. Osteopath visit - sounds a bit odd, but i visit the osteopath every couple months for back and hip concerns and I find it incredibly relaxing and super beneficial. Kinda like a massage but better as it's fixing things.

3. Pyjamas - for me, relaxation usually means getting into my pjs after a long day so I always associate my pjs as being my comfy relaxing clothes.

Outlaw TV is attena available though can't figure out why the is a ...91 different cowboy movies and we have to watch Elvis... I would rather eat than relax watching Elvis..oh well..burgees Meredith is an Indian...his penguin role must dried up
