Purple magic bands are here

Saw a thread this week where people wanted them. This was at the space mountain gift shop. No idea if you can select them online yet. No other new colors.

We sae some at the beginning of May, but it was the lightning that made them seem purple, up close they were pink

We're going to go back to look in a little bit! It really looked 100% purple in the store at least. My iphone 5 has been taking wretched photos this trip (time for a replacement, crap battery and reception too).

Yeah, but wouldn't it be just like Disney to realize how many people wanted purple bands....so, they make them and sell them!!!

I heard from a CM (we all know how accurate that can be) on the FP+/MB task force that they have been working on purple for a while but it is hard to get a quality purple dye that won't fade-
So, they may be here if the process is successful (and the CM was right. . .)

I thought the same thing when I saw these in the parks - purple! But someone else mentioned they thought they were pink and I had to agree.

We just got a pink one and put purple nail polish on it. It has been working well all week.

As soon as it's off the shelf it appears pink. As soon as it's back in the dark lighting in that store, it looks purple.
