Purchasing placeholder - I think I messed up

Have you logged in to your Castaway Cay account on DCL's website? Our future cruises have always been listed there as soon as we were home. Your new reservation number will be shown.

Enjoy your cruise!

Huh! Since this was our first trip, where would I find those numbers?

If you have an online account with DCL, i.e. the account you logged into to do online check in and book port adventures, etc., your Castaway Club info should be automatically linked to that. Log into that account and click on the Castaway Club option.

ETA: Also, your Castaway Club number is on your KTTW card from your cruise, if you kept that.

I found the number and it looks like I have a GTY sailing in 2034... I assume that's their way to 'fool' the system for a place holder. Now my problem is I bought 2, but only one is showing on my account. I'm going to assume that the other was purchased against my DH's account, as we had 2 staterooms. My problem is that I'm the only one with an online account. He and the rest of my family are just 'friends' in my account. It's the easiest way to book for everyone. Do I have to set up an online account for DH now?

Do you have a DCL account hooked to your Castaway Club #? If so, log in and go to the Castaway Club page where it shows your future cruises; the booking # should show on your future cruise list with a sailing date of 2032 or some far off year. If you do have that and don't see a booking #, it still may be possible that it was booked under the name & Castaway Club # of someone else in your cabin. But if you check that as well and don't see the booking #, I'd call DCL right away to see if they processed the on board booking because the booking # should exist somewhere by now even if the charges haven't made their way to your bank yet.

Thank you for this! I had forgotten you could check there for your reservation number!

Probably a good idea.

one time we had 2 rooms on one sailing - a "Boys" room and a "Girls" room. I had to set up another account to access the "Boys" room ressie.

That's odd. One time we had 3 rooms on a cruise. I could access all the reservations. I just needed to know the name and birthdate of one person in each room to access it. Didn't have to set up a whole new account.

@PrincessShmoo we might have been able to do that - but I also needed an ABC account to vote on DWTS that season :teeth: so it was a 2 for 1 type of deal with us - and it was easy to manage, except when it wasn't
