Purchasing Magic Bands from Disney Store

We're headed to WDW again in November and were thinking about getting cool magic bands from the Disney Store.
Anyone done this?
Is it a hassle to link them to our reservation.tickets?
What about the the MBs that Disney sends?

I'm probably overthinking this.

You just link them to MDE with the number provided.

Easy Peasy. We change ours all the time.

You go on MDE, click something like "Add magic band", type in the unique code on the underside of the MB, then select who on your mde friends and family list (yourself included of course) you'd like to link the band to.

Nothing is stored on the MB's so you only link it to your mde account. The whole process takes less than 1 minute

It's not a hassle at all, super easy. I surprised my family last trip with some fancy magic bands and the kids loved it.

I bought 2 today that were on clearance at the Disney store and used an extra 25% off code. I paid $12.07 each for a Tiana and a Stormtroopers.

Yea super easy and now is a great time to buy them. If you pick one of the clearance bands they're even less than the plain coloured ones.

Buying the bands at the store or online is easy, and once you get them, you just plug the numbers on the band into MDE and they should automagically work. It's not a hassle in any way.

The MB that Disney sends for your resort stay come already linked and active for the person they belong to.

It's not as complicated as you are imagining.
