Purchase small points w/ same UY

I am in the process of purchasing 100 pts w/ Aug UY... and may want to purchase more points in the future.

Can I purchase more points and start a second contract w/ the same Aug UY? thus allowing me to sell in the future, or split between kids....

What if I purchase from re-sale?
What if I purchase from Disney?... can it be any amount (25+ pts cash)

I would think you would always want the same UY. Buying 25 pts thru Disney may be better for you--No closing costs.

I agree that buying smaller contracts through Disney might work best for you, since you can add on as few as 25 at at time, and you wont have closing costs like you will with resales. Don't forget that DVC does sell some points from the "sold out" resorts too. YOu just might have to wait a bit if you are looking at BCV or VWL.

DVC insists that all add-on's thru them match to your contract's UY, min. 25 points cash, 50 finance. The add-on becomes a sub contract to main account.

When inquiring as to Oct. avail @ BCV (none), Guide confirmed that we may sell off either of our "homes" via resale & still have a viable contract.

I have a hard enough time managing our small amount of points w/same UY, couldn't imagine trying to keep them straight with more than one.

Yes, you must purchase at least 25 points (cash) or 50 points (financed) but it can be any number you want: 37 points, 72 points, whatever works for you, provided they have the points in inventory in your Use Year. Otherwise you can go on a waitlist for the points you need.
