By way of update, I faxed a note over to his teachers yesterday asking them to keep in touch with me. I got this response from his science teacher:

"Chris is doing fine in science, he's really looking forward to the
progress reports. I'll let you know if this trend changes, but he is really doing his best. Nicely done, what ever you did."

Call me confused, but didn't he just get a D or an F? How could he be doing fine?

I don't know about her but we are 4 weeks into the 3rd quarter here and my DD is getting weekly noteslike hers... .Her d's are now all b's.Here lowest class average is a 79.Most are mid-80's...It's a huge improvement

Report cards only got mailed home last week, but the 3rd marking period started a few weeks ago.
