Pumpkins and Pirates and Cowboys... Oh my! Our dream Disney TR!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I will update later, but I wanted to be sure to wish all my readers that are mommies....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully you are treated like the royalty you are!!princess:

Just caught up with the latest info. DBF and I also enjoy zazzle's variety of images. That is probably what we will do for MNSSHP this year, a character tee with accesories to go with it. Not sure if it was you or Lady I told this to, but last year we went and wore head to toe polyester costumes in 90 degree weather. It was awful! We are going for more cool and comfortable "costumes" this year. Also, AK is our favorite park! I know that people either love it or hate it, but definitely give it the chance it deserves!

AK is worth going too, I do love it and the atmosphere but I can usually get everything I enjoy done in a half of day. Granted, with Expedition Everest it may take me longer...that is if I don't wimp out!

You've done such a great job planning everything out! I'll be excited to read your trip report!!
Isn't amazing how much there is to plan for!! Overwhelming at times, isn't it?!
I love your idea of slipping into a hammock at the poly! That will be so romantic!!

Sorry about your bad day :flower3: I hope DBF took care of you and things are better now.

He always takes good care of me :)

The man is a saint. I had a flare up with my Colitis yesterday and he sat with me in bed and helped me through it. (Seems that people (at a buffet) who can eat shell fish have no problem borrowing the spoon for the mashed potatoes and then use it to get mashed potatoes and get the seafood sause mixed in with the mashed potatoes. :furious: With the stress of the week, anything on the no eat list would have set me off, so I made pains to be careful.) I am feeling 1000 times better this morning.

An update is coming I promise!

So Friday, I spent the afternoon alone in the office surfing the Dis and cleaning up my desk. It was unusually quiet, though I really didn't mind. Last week was rough. But our office got through it like the champs we are...

Did we hide under a desk? Heck no!
Did we cry? Only in the car on the way home!
Did we want to give up? Nope. We are the best in the region for a reason.

But were we glad for a weekend refuge. Oh yeah! In fact we closed the office early to get a head start on our weekend.

I drove home all smiles and got to the house, jumped out of the car and went to get the mail. I pulled the massive pile of letters, and some comic books for DBF and one last thing: a letter from Lake Buena Vista, Floridia!

I raced up the stairs and into our apartment. I crashed on the couch and I just stared at the envelope. Then I opened it and pulled out our MNSSHP tickets.

This is really the first time that this trip has seemed real. I mean we have started to pay it off and all. But I had our Halloween tickets in hand. It was awesome.

No one was around so I got all teary eyed and pulled out my camera to take pictures of the tickets. They really didn't have anything Halloween about them, but I don't mind as long as I get into that party! :cloud9:

Now to work on our costumes!

Awww I felt the same way about our tickets!! I already claimed the Cinderella & Prince Charming ticket. :goodvibes

Just a warning.... this is :offtopic:

So, my hand feels naked... Now not in the way you may be thinking with the gloves and such. (or if you are thinking of anything worse let me say... get your head out of the gutter!) But I am not wearing one of the most important pieces of jewlery I own.... and so my hand feels naked.

The ring to which I am referring was my grandparent's promice ring. My grandfather gave it to my grandmother when she was 17 and it was part of their 17th birthday gift to me. A ring that I have only had removed for hospital stays.

This is the first time I have been without it by choice EVER. Apparently, DBF needs to borrow it for what he calls the "Government Ring Size List" or something or other. I call shenanigans. :rolleyes1

Anyway this missing bit of jewlery is really noticible because I am going to play with a ring that is not there. My boss just walked by and noticed it was missing because I was fiddling with the wrong ring as we discussed topics of the day. (Yeah we are that regimented here. But are the most casual office in the building) And also a ring on the middle finger is harder to turn with your thumb.

But to think that we could be engaged before we go to Disney, is really exciting!

So those are my musings for the moment...

Woo Hoo!! :dance3: I believe he is up to shenanigans. Though, "Government Ring Size List" is very cute. You don't think he will propose at Disney?

I thought so ... How did I know he was up to shenanigans??? He left the room and went and made dinner... without me asking nicely. It is a very rare occasion that he does this..

You don't think he will propose at Disney?

Nope. He said he would not propose at Disney or on a holliday. I think it will be sooner than Disney. Honestly once he has it, I don't know how long he will be able to hold on to it.

His mother already thinks we are engaged. Sunday, she called me her DIL. :)
