yes I've been there after going to the shrine near Sea World for Mass.

and a few (very few) other places are closed on sunday.

The ones by my house instead of closing at 11pm Mon-Sat close at 10pm on Sundays.I can't imagine a grocery store closing on Sunday,they're usually packed with many people doing a weekly shopping trip on Sundays.

How far from Hotel Blvd is the Publix, Walmart or Target (whichever is closest). Is the Walmart a Supercenter w/ food? Im looking to get a case of water and will be staying on Hotel Blvd my first night.

The closest Publix is across from the Orlando Premium outlets Vineland ave location,just take 535 south,go under the I-4 overpass and turn left at Vineland ave.,535 is called Vineland rd which can get confusing.The closest Wal Mart supercenter is also just down the road on 535,continue south on 535 and you'll see it on the right.Both are about 5-10 minutes from Hotel plaza blvd.

From Hotel Plaza Blvd I would suggest the Super Wal-Mart on Turkey Lake instead. About the same distance as 535 Wal-Mart, but a nicer, cleaner store, and open 24h. From Hotel Plaza, turn left at 535, next right on Palm Parkway (becomes Turkey Lake), and it is about 4.5mi down on your left. For Publix on Vineland (and the Premium Outlets), you can avoid a lot of traffic snarl by taking Palm Parkway and crossing I-4 on Daryl Carter Parkway (1st light on Palm Pkwy). A quick right at I-drive then right on Vineland puts you at Publix. We met no traffic at all using Daryl Carter, but 535/Vineland is at a crawl for most of the day.

all walmarts near Orlando are open 24 hours a day - same as here. now in little towns they may close earlier?

publix hours I think are until 10pm (might be 11pm)
