PTR May 2009 for our 3rd Anniversary. We're home and want to go back! :(

Now I absolutely love that picture of you with Mary Poppins! Too funny.

Ahhhh, the peer pressure! Haha. I think I'll start a pre-trippie later on tonight after I get home from work!

I really like the Safari idea, yall. I think that'd be a blast to all ride together and I know it's something the kids will definitely enjoy, too!

The picture of you with Mary Poppins is way too cute! Love it! :goodvibes

And oh my gosh! I just went back and looked at your ADRs.. this sounds crazy, but we'll be at The Wave and Sanaa at the SAME time! Our ADRs are for 5:00, but we'll still be eating when yall arrive. How cool is that?!

Oh yay!! I hope you start the PTR!!

I hope we do the safari ride, but I'm happy with whatever. I do think that it would be fun!

I'm trying to figure out what to do for everyone. It will be something small. We'll see.

I can't believe we'll be at both restaurants at the same time. How cool! You'll have to yell at me when you see us walk in! LOL well, maybe not yell....:lmao: Are you looking forward to eating at the Wave and Sanaa? The Wave was sooo good for lunch so I'm very excited for dinner. Sanaa is what I'm looking the most forward to. I love Boma and Jiko so Sanaa will probably be a new favorite.

Who said that the peer pressure stops after high school?

Brandi- where is the Wave at? I keep wanting to add another ADR but I haven't decided yet. I was thinking about doing Aloha but I don't think I am going to this time around since Rylan is still pretty young. I have to think!

omg I just looked up the menu...and the Italiam chef salad sounds SOOOOOOOO good. And the lettuce wraps...oh man.

What an adorable picture!!! I've never seen a more "real" Mary Poppins! And you are the cutest thing ever. Your expression is priceless. SO CUTE!!

That Mary Poppins picture is so cute! I actually see a lot of Tyson in that picture of you!

Sorry I haven't been going on lately...too much going on with the house and watching the bachelor. Its my only tv show I watch.

I am not sure what size the box was. I just went to the post office and they had those sitting out and I knew I needed something that would fit the coloring book and was wide enough for the cups. Sorry that doesn't really help!

Hey have we picked a time for the AK meet?

Haha, I know right! And the Wave is at The Contemporary! You should make an ADR there! On May 14th! :)

Hey!! Did you see this... http://www.stitchkingdom.com/2009/03/03/some-of-the-offerings-at-kidani-villages-sanaa/ It pics of the food they're going to be serving at Sanaa!!

Thanks so much for posting that!

I wish I could :sad2: The 14th is one of our scheduled off days to go visit family in Orlando :( :(

I love the pic of you with Mary Poppins, how cute. My scanner is on the blink too so all I have is a "redneck" scanner now. I really need to invest in a new one, I think I got the old one about the time you were getting your pic made with Mary Poppins.

Ha Ha, well I don't own a scanner but my dad has one upstairs in his office. It's a pain to work and it's hard to use it while wrestling a toddler. :lmao: So it's easier for me to take a redneck pic. I want to buy a printer/scanner/copier for downstairs.

Now I absolutely love that picture of you with Mary Poppins! Too funny.

:) Thanks! That was a wonderful trip. We went to Disney for a couple days and then to Daytona. It was the last time I spent with my grandpa. He died of a heart attack the night we got home. I'll always remember that trip.

Did you find the Wave? It's on the first floor of the contemporary next to check in. I've never been to Aloha but I'm sure it would be fun.

Thanks!! Doesn't she look so real? She's so pretty.

Thanks! You know, after you said that I looked at a pic of Tyson while looking at that pic and we do look a lot alike. That makes me happy because everyone says he's a spitting image of Brad's whole family. :sad2:

Thanks, I figured out the boxes and I'm sending them out tomorrow! yay!

I don't think we've picked a time yet. What is your schedule for that day? It looks like we are either looking at before lunch or around 3:45. But I have to look back to see.

Wow!! Thanks for showing me that. It looks so good. I'm even more excited now. :dance3:

Hi Brandi !! Just checking in!!Wish we would get to meet but our times don't overlap!! I will get to meet Kara on th17th though !! That meet is shaping up to be Huge!!!

So Friday I went to get my hair colored. I brought a picture of me with that color hair. First time around my hair turned orange. (BTW this is a professional hair stylist that has been doing hair for 15 years) Then the second time the hair still didn't change much. Then the third time she got it a dark brown with yellow blonde highlights. By then it was 9:30 at night and I'd been there since 1:30. Yes 8 hours...I was ticked. I left saying it was pretty. It did look caramel in her lights. At home I saw that it was yellow. I texted her that night and said I need to come back tomorrow. I went back in at 10:30 yesterday and she put in a semi permanent color it's like chocolate brown with some caramel highlights. I'm happy now. It's still not the picture but Oh Well. I'll be finding a new hairdresser. If my hair couldn't go from that dark to that light brown/caramel then she should have told me that its a transitional process. I would have been fine with that. She shouldn't have tried if it couldn't be done in one day. I don't know this stuff. It's her job to know what is possible. I swear!!! Why can't people be professional. I didn't come in there demanding for that color. I asked if it was possible and she tried it. But it's over and my hair is pretty. That's all that matters.

Aww I know. I wish we could too. But your meet will be so fun!! I'm glad you get to meet Kara!

Maybe we'll be going at the same time next year. Are you going in December?

Well keep me up to date on the meet. We could do the before lunch...nut we have reservations at 5 at 1900 Park Fare so we probably will go nap after lunch and not come back. We shall see! Can't wait to see the photos of your hair! I posted some shirt photos today!

Oh no! That should not have happened at all! I bet my hair is darker than yours...and while it takes a couple times to get it right, it NEVER looks orange. She should be using bleach and an accelerator with that to get the blonde in there, and then before she washes it out she should smother your hair with toner. I had to go there 2 times to get it right since my hair is so dark and it takes so long to lift out, but with my stylist I have never turned out with yellow or orange highlights! After the first time, they were more caramel/golden blond.

That's so not professional to keep trying and tryin to get the color to come through. She should have told you and waited at least a week to do anything else to it.

I want to see a picture though!!!

And I really want to do The Wave. Haven't made ADRs yet. Which park is it closest to? That may determine when I do it lol.

Bummer about the hair! I'm glad she was finally able to get it how you wanted it...sorta! Let's see some pics!

For the DIS meet, maybe we should all meet at the safari entrance at noon. I think we should all fit on one truck. I think there is probably enough room for 25-30 people on one of the trucks. I heard they changed the story a little! :confused3 "Simba one, simba one, we've located the poachers!":rotfl:

I am game...with our ADR switch we are at Boma that night now at 5:40! More time at AK!!!

I didn't just have orange highlights. The whole top of my head where my roots were was orange. I'm going to look for someone else next time. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

The Wave is in the Contemporary and there is a walkway to it in front of the MK or you can take the Monorail, I think. The walkway took about 3 minutes or so to walk once you leave MK. It's in the lobby of the hotel.

I completely agree. Let's meet at noon. I asked on the attractions board about how many people fit in the truck. They said the trucks have 10 rows with four or five people in each row. That's definitely big enough for all of us. Yeah, it's changed but I've only been on it once and that's what they say. Brad said it use to be different.
