PTR July 2011 CBR - I think it's time for Annual Passes!

I really need to get my act together! At least I have the long weekend to get some stuff done. I have set aside all of the shirts for the kids and I, only I keep adding to mine, so I'll have way too much of course! I will need to do an elimination round. Then I'll need to pick out jewelry to go with it. I'm a Silpada girl, so we feel naked without it. I looked at my pictures from our January trip, and it looks like I ended up wearing the same jewelry everyday anyway, since it was already out and easy to throw on quick.

I want to get a sun shield for the car's windshield, but I guess it will still be stinking hot either way!

I love the LL Bean toiletry bag we have, so I got the two smaller sizes, now I just need to get them organized.

Shopping is the one thing I have been doing, but I need to pull out my old packing list and start to see what I still need.

Apparently I don't need bags :rolleyes1

I have so many other Disney totes I've accumulated, but they still probably cost less all together than the Dooneys! I did sell my Kindle and some other things to help justify my purchases! I haven't used the Kindle in a long time, since I can use it on my iPhone.

I have one poncho for each of us, but maybe I should get more. Did I throw away the Disney Park ponchos we had bought? I'm so organized.

I should wrap some birthday presents, before the kids find them! I should also clean, but to do that, I need to clean up all these toys off the floors in their rooms and play room! Maybe if I got more than 5 hours sleep each night, I'd have more motivation after work.

It's a shame Flynn Rider won't be at the Rapunzel meet and greet anymore, the boys would have loved seeing him too.

I was showing the boys some pictures of the pools at CBR, and Evan says over and over "Mommy, we have got to stay there!"

We are watching Finding Nemo right now, and I really should put this laptop down and go do something productive. Or I could work on that digital scrapbook of our January trip that I haven't touched in ages...:sad2:

I am insanely jealous of those bags!!! I'm hoping to get one for Christmas. Sophie did pick a pearl yesterday. It was a lot of fun! She got a 7 1/4 size. Grandma got that for her along with the chain. Then Sophie bought the setting herself. She picked a cute silver slipper ($9.95). The pearl was $14.95 and the chain was $20, I believe.

You are so close to your trip, and seem to be very organized!!! We only have 2 days left and I'm so sad. The kids and Scott are at EPCOT right now and i'm at the hotel with a sick Finn. We even had a trip to the ER with him the other night (croup). We left with oral steroids and had to rest for 12 hours. He's been having rough patches mixed with periods of energy. He's not contagious, they assured me of that, but the poor guy just feels yucky. He's been using his paci and blankie 24/7 (usually it is only allowed at bedtime) and that helps a bit!!!

I hope you have a great trip if you don't get on here before you leave!!!

Oh no! It's so sad when kids are sick, and even worse when it's in Disney, when you really just want everyone to be healthy, happy, and enjoying themselves. When Evan was 18 months old we had to make a trip to the Dr/ER in WDW for an ear infection.

Sorry your trip is coming to an end. Hopefully you get to enjoy it!

The pick a pearl sounds fun! I hope you get your Dooney for Christmas. :goodvibes I prefer black for most things, and the balloon bag was my first choice, but that sketch bag is really growing on me now that I have it in person.

Your bags are so cute.

I am sad about Flynn leaving too. That in combination with how crazy the lines have been lately have me about ready to skip the meet & greet. Of course, that makes my DD5 very, very sad as Rapunzel is her favorite character. Ugh.

My packing list is done and most of our Disney clothes are packed. I am sure you will get there very soon.

I'm still on the fence about the D&B bags, LOL! But I do like the "sketch" design... we'll see if I come home with one in September! ;)

Your trip will be here before you know it!

I started packing the boys outfits in ziploc bags, and will have to tackle my clothing next. I found myself debating, yet again, what to carry into the parks. I really thought I'd want to use a D&B, but I found that I'm nervous enough using the white sketch at home, let alone the parks! It would be senseless too with the camera bag.

My other dilemma, what color polish for my nails! Crackle or no crackle! I am getting them done tonight after work, since she had to cancel on me for Thursday. Boys are getting haircuts tomorrow.

I still have presents to wrap for Dylan's birthday, for him to open when we get home. I will probably take some of the smaller ones with. I ordered an underwater Kodak Easy Share Digital Camera (love Amazon Prime) which is now one of Dylan's presents.

Went to Old Navy for swim trunks for DH, and ended up with more clothing for the boys. Evan loves Tom and Jerry, so I was happy to see they have more shirts. We have 4 different ones now.

Also went to Target over the weekend, so I hopefully have everything I need now from there. I still need snacks and drinks for the drive. I got PixieMama's dress from Target, in black. Thanks! Also got a sun shade for the windshield.

We plan to leave Friday after work. DH isn't in a hurry to leave, figuring we'd just sit in traffic anyway at that time. I'm not to sure about 95 and all the off-shoots we end up on around Baltimore and DC, always hit traffic, and I've been reading bad things about construction on 495... I'll leave that to him. I'll mention the alternate 81-77-26-95, but I'm thinking he'll want to stick with 95. We plan on driving straight through. He'll do most of the driving, and I'll give him a break to try and sleep at some point. He always drives, everywhere we go, he gets car sick otherwise.

We did get the car serviced last week, and thankfully I noticed the day before that the steering wheel shakes when going over 70 mph. :rolleyes1 That would have made for a fun drive to WDW, if you drive that fast. I need a bulb for the rear dome light, since I forgot that at the time. I can handle it though.

I'm sure there is still so much left to do, and it will all hit me Thursday! As long as I still have the everyday workday routine going, it seems like vacation is far away... and it's not! Let's see how much I can accomplish these next 3 nights.

Just a few days left! :cool1:

Yay, you got the dress! My BFF and I were just at Target the other day and I showed the dress to her... she also got the black one! I would've bought it to, had there been one in my size.

I tried on the peach color as well, but didn't like the way it looked on my backside. Black hides everything! They didn't have black in the size I should have gotten, but it fits, just have to be careful putting it on. I wish the other color looked as good.

You leave in FOUR DAYS!!! YAHOO!!! I love shopping before a trip. Take some time to enjoy the pretrip days! Soak it all up! :hippie:

3 days to go!! Or is it 2 by now? Either way, it's so close! I always find a few days before a trip, I lose all motivation to do anything to get ready for it and end up springing into action the night before or day of. I hope you've gotten lots of things accomplished. :goodvibes

Only 2 days to go! You will be there soon.

My DH gets carsick too and does most of the driving. The only time I drive on road trips is right after lunch when he usually falls asleep.

I am glad you got your car serviced. A shaky steering wheel would have been really annoying!

So, did you get the crackle nailpolish? I am thinking of doing mine red with white dots like Minnie's dress.

I went to the grocery store at lunch yesterday, and all I got were snacks and drinks for the drive and the room... I might have gone overboard! :rotfl: But we do have to stay awake!

I've lost motivation as far as eating healthy, and I almost skipped yoga last night, which is odd for me, because I really look forward to that. I am determined to get mostly all packed tonight. As I get ready for work tomorrow morning, I can finish packing the bathroom stuff as I get done using it. We really should try to get to bed early tonight, since we'll have a long drive ahead of us the next night.

I wasn't too fond of the crackle stuff the have at the nail salon, so I bought OPI Shatter in black, and silver. I love the silver - it's sparkly! I might have gone with that if I had it when I got my nails done... I had decided I was just going to go with hot pink, and then at the last minute, asked her if she could do some kind of feathered design. I love how they turned out!

I feel silly posting a picture of my nails, but they are so pretty!

I take a lot of pictures on vacation, hundreds, yet I still find them lacking when I get home. It's my mission to try and take more memorable pictures, documenting things along the way through pictures. I realize this even more as I read other trip reports.

I love your nails! Good call on the feather design.

I think I missed you all leaving for the trip and you're probably already back by now. I hope you had a great time and I can't wait to hear about it!

I missed your departure while I was away...gotta love those last few days of chaos and excitement! I think you're on your way back today, can't wait to hear all about the trip!
