OMG I love your binder!!! I'm about to start one for myself, can I just ask how you did the Disney font on the cover? I LOVE it!

If you're worried about space in a value, maybe think about upgrading to a mod! One of the things that annoys me about the values are the sinks...I don't like how there is only one. It's too bad you can't find out ahead of time if you would be upgraded or not, so you could just know if you should pay for a mod room or not! I wonder if they will be upgrading people in mods to deluxes?

I say stick with Pop! I put some space saving tips in my PTR. I also forgot that not only is there the counter space at the sink, there is also a little shelf above the sink. Also, you can store luggage or carry on luggage below the sink as well as in the closet on the top rack. I really think you guys will have enough space at Pop, and that way you just have extra spending money if you don't have to pay for the upgrade!

Megan, you sound like an awesome teacher! That definitely sounds like a Fun Friday! I have that book you are talking about and it is super cute. My dad told me though that if I take it to school I will have a bunch of angry parents complaining because their kids will all want to go to WDW.

I have been looking at some space saving ideas on disboards such as luggage storage and maybe those shoe hanger thingys. I wonder if mousekeeping would bring more hangers if we needed them? I figured for those who want to unpack, we have 3 drawers and we could each take a drawer?

My friend from CSR said that they often upgrade people but it's mostly to the DVC resorts..OKW and SSR..sometimes, not often though but they will upgrade to standard at AKL.

I thought for sure there were 2 sinks at CSR but there is only one but the beds are queens I'm kinda sorta hoping that if K stays at POP than she'll ask one of us to stay in her room. I already mentioned to her about trying for connecting rooms. I'm not sure if they could do that if she only stays Sat and Sun since we check in Fri but we could see!

I thought the same thing about being at the parks a lot. I guess it's more-so getting ready and the time it will take. My 2 friends are not speedy at all when it comes to getting ready! When they came to visit in Jan, we had 1 bathroom and I talked to them after my one morning of work training and it took them around 2 hours for all 3 of them to get read That would be unheard of in my family! I guess I will be taking a lot of either late night showers or very very very early ones!

My mom never did a binder either and I didn't know people did them until I went on this site! My mom did make a folder of sorts with the important papers. Now if she makes one it will contain menus too but still not in a binder lol.

I do..I put in in my carry-on backpack. Sometimes I regret that decision if I buy a lot of stuff and sometimes it gets put in my checked bag so I don't have to lug it around and not need it!

WEEKEND UPDATE

Hi Dis friends!!

We've finally made it to the long weekend

I just wanted to say thanks for sticking with me and I will be back on Monday with a full update..because...

We Will Be Paid In Full By Then!!!

I have a super busy morning:
-Going to my Bridesmaid dress fitting
-Getting my nails done..full set so I stop biting what's left of my real ones!
-Hopefully picking up my pics from Walgreens if they are done early
-Getting my allergy meds picked up at Walmart

Then my mom and I are going on a girls only two day trip sorta thing. Her family is having a BBQ (Eastern OH near Youngstown) tonight and then we're staying at my aunts house (mom's sister) and then tomorrow on my dad's side, my cousin is having her bridal shower! After that, we will spend a little bit of the afternoon with the fam and then head back to Cincinnati so we don't waste Monday off by driving!

Well..that's it for now..SEE YOU ON MONDAY!!

PAID IN FULL!!!!

HAPPY LABOR DAY DIS FRIENDS!!!

GREAT NEWS..

WE ARE PAID IN FULL!!!

I got home last night after the over-nighter/family events, went online, and paid the remaining balance of the trip! I was debating about doing this via my debit card and having it paid off right away or waiting and putting it on my credit card to get some more Disney Visa Rewards points. The visa card won and I will be getting more points!! I'm trying to decide if I want to use the points for in Oct or let them ride until Dec or use some in Oct and some in Dec..we shall see!

When I went online last night and did the payment (11:11pm mind you!) It was still showing a balance after I did it but this morning at 5am, I got my email showing that the balance had been paid and it showed $0!! I went on WDW.com and it then showed a 0 balance!!

46 days to go!!!!

I figured I would do a mini recap of what is going to happen since it want from 4 of us to 3 to 2 to 3 now 4 again so this is a little recap:

TRIP PLANS AS OF 9/6

Resort:
J, M, and I are in 1 room at POP Standard with Free Dining and 2 day park hopper. We upgraded the QS to DDP and set up DME already

K is going to get her own room with her CM discount (hopefully at POP and hopefully she will offer for one of us to stay with her ).

Our ADRs are:
10/22: Nothing..arrival day. J will probably eat at Earl OS at DTD as she gets in early
10/23: 11:10 ADR at 50s Prime Time for all 4 of us
10/24: 10:50 ADR at Ohana for J and I
10/24: 10:50 ADR at Kona for K and M: This was a change for the other 2 girls. K didn't want to spend the extra $$ for Ohana as she is paying OOP for meals and M wanted Tonga Toast so we are going to split for that meal
10/24: 4:15 ADR at Crystal Palace for M, J, and I. K will do her own CS meal.
10/25: 1:30 ADR at Chefs De France for all 4 of us

Other than that, nothing has changed. We keep trying to get on K to book her room as it is free dining/food and wine/the week before halloween, and things are beginning to book up!

M is debating about just canceling her flights and doing the trip Fri-Tues like J and I. She still isn't employed and figured that by the beginning of Oct, if she isn't employed or interviewed, she might change her flights and stay for the whole time = crazyness changing DME as if it wasn't already crazy enough with 3 girls out of 3 cities, different times, and some different days We shall see..

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Like I said a few days ago, my mom and I had a girls-overnighter in the eastern part Ohio to visit family. Sat, we had a picnic on Mom's side...sorry no pics! It was fun but colddd!!!

Sun was my cousins bridal shower on my Dad's side:

It was a beautiful shower! They had it at a Springfield Grille restaurant. We had a choice of 3 food options: Club with fries, salad, or Stuffed Chicken, baked potato, and salad. We all got rolls and soft drinks. The cake was super yummy! They had 4 games and everyone got a prize! The prizes ranged from gift cards, chocolate, candles, or a mum (centerpiece). I got a baggie with caramel corn and choco bar. My mom got a starbucks gift card and coffee! For the favors they had a small whisk and measuring spoons in hearts in a cute box (sorry no pic!) All in all, it was a pretty penny for the shower but it was beautiful and she got a ton of great gifts..most from Bed Bath and Beyond!

I was lucky growing up in that my mom, my dad's sister (aunt), and my dad's sister-in-law (aunt) all had baby girls within weeks of each other. My dad's sister had their daughter Jennifer on 2/16, my dad's sister-in-law had their daughter Amanda on 2/28 and I was born on 3/19 so of course we were triplets growing up! I can't believe one of us is getting married now! I always considered having the other 2 girls in my wedding but since my cousin isn't having us, I guess I won't have them when the time comes but that's okay! Less money I have to spend and save more for trips!!

Okay enough of the rants!! That is it for now!!

I know how hard it is not to be asked to be in a family member's wedding. I have been hurt more than once by this. As a former bride, it's just so hard. No matter who you ask, someone is always going to feel left out.

I agree, you can't have everyone! My cousin has a bridal party of 11 and my college roommate has one of 11 as well. My roommate has 2 of her cousins in it. One is her MOH and the other I think was just a "filler" because I'm pretty sure they aren't very close and it was easier to pick family I guess?? Who knows haha.

I guess I didn't even think about calling?? When I saw that there was still a balance after I had paid I got all nervous but then I clicked on apply a payment and it was saying 0. I guess it was still pending because now it says balance: 0
