I made my last ADR this morning for Teppan Edo….at least my last ADR for this round. I see dinning changes in my future….but that’s only natural right?

Wouldn't be a Disney vacation without a couple of changes.

Yesterday when I called…I dialed the wrong number the first time…changed the last digit from the dinning phone number…I got a recording from the Boardwalk resort about calling in sick…I’m such a Disney dork I called back to hear the message again! It seems that CM’s have a special number to call to leave a message when they are calling out sick or if they will be late.

I would have called back also -- I wouldn't have been able to resist.

I started the play hut for the party…looks cool so far…need some brown paint and need to make a sign. I’m calling it “Liam’s Cub House”…little play on words…DH asked me what the pass word for it is…I came up with SIMBA 1….Simba 1…come in Simba 1. Then we started joking about Big Red and Little Red…I wanted to put one of the blow up elephants in the back of our Jeep but we figured no one but my DIS friends would get the joke.

Can't wait to see pics!

Sunday is Mother’s day….I plan to vacation plan all day and get Chinese take-out and eat left over birthday cake….what are your plans?

Sounds like a lovely day -- I think my family has forgotten because no one has mentioned ANYTHING.

In the parting words of the Boardwalk Resort call in sick message....Have a Magical Day! (which by the way I find odd because what's magical about being sick???)

This is the best! I love how they always say it, and now I know they even say it if you are sick!

You should have left message that you wouldn't be in for your shift!

Can I just say the whole wheat buns are not very good at WDW. Bring back the bad for you white buns.....

I want to see the ingredient list for the kid's apple sauce...if I see "high fructose corn syrup" Disney Dinning is gonna get one of my nasty grams.

Hi All!
Just wanted to share a link to the new It's a Small World ride at the Hong Kong Park. It looks to be a beautiful ride. I watched some youtube video and the Disney characters they added to this version really work seamlessly. That being said, I don't want them added to the Florida or Cali versions.

Thanks for thinking of me! I haven't seen them before saved and printed off a set. I'm going to be making up bags for each day were in the parks, with our ADR #'s and times, maps, Michael's stickers sheets for each park, and other things pertinent to each day, so these will be great! THANKS!

can't get the whole activity book to uplaod yet, so I may hunt down the oringinal link on my end...maybe some cool things I havne't found yet...I made up journal/activity books for each of the older 3 kids and journals for myself and my Mom too.

Well just trying to get a little Diz in this morning then I need to get into Pirate & Princess mode for the twins party today...but tomorrow I hope I can get a couple hours to myseld to get some scrappin and Disney things done....without the kids 'bugging' me though DS says "i don't think that's gonna happin Mom" we'll see!

Hope all the Mom's had a great day. I got to sleep in today and get Chinese take out (how was your's Jackie?). And I've been working on vacation plans all afternoon/evening. I got a singing Pooh Bear card for Mother's Day and DH is going to get me a bracelet when we have time to go to the jewerly store (the store that we go to is an hour away). The bracelet is actually my idea. DH got me a diamond bracelet on our wedding day and I thought it would be cool to have a bracelet for each child that we have. I can't wait to pick one out.
The birthday party yesterday went really well. 20 adults...8 kids all under 8 y/o. I'll post pictures in a bit. Scrappie-Do: how was your twin's party???

My Chinese take-out was delicious -- the family enjoyed it, too! And there was no cooking on my part involved which is always a plus!

I've been mostly organizing my binder and typing up the hand written notes and updated spreadsheets. It's only a one inch binder so I had to do some housekeeping.

That still sounds like fun -- at least to this OCD planner, it does . I love making everything in my binder all neat and organized. I haven't done any Disney planning lately -- I really hope things calm down soon so I can.

What a flat-out spectacular job you did on all the decorations and cakes!!! It's the next best thing to the real Animal Kingdom -- love the lions caged in the fireplace and the monkey swinging from the chandelier!

Those cakes look delicious and precious Liam looks like he definitely enjoyed his! I love first birthday cake pictures!

Thank you...I love throwing parties. Next up is our annual summer cookout...I invite like 100 people (not everyone comes) but we average at least 60 every year.

Thanks....the cake actually tasted good too. My sisters wanted to know why he wasn't striped down to just a diaper...I guess they were hoping for a mess...DS is a pretty neat eater.

I was surprised at how neat he was -- both Chelsea and Connor were a mess afterwards -- but then Connor still hasn't mastered the art of eating neatly!

Thank you, the only thing that didn't go as planned was that Liam had no intest in opening any of his present pass the little garden rake from the dollar bin at Target that I had gotten him. I had the other kids help open the presents.

I love to throw parties....I can't wait for Liam to get older so we can start having Halloween parties. And yes I think most really noticed all the work I did.
