PTR-Cheating on Mickey w/Harry!...OMG! Only a month to go!

I didn't know that you sang! That's really cool, want to sing with our big band? :lmao: Good luck and we'll catch up when you get back!

Sure I'll sing with your band! Maybe we can get a gig at WDW! :rotfl2:

The show went great! Everything ran smoothly the whole time, all the performers were terrific (both students and faculty!), and it was a lot of fun! We're already starting to come up with ideas for the opening of next year's show! :goodvibes

Hey guys, I sing and play the flute!! I wanna join!!

That's so cool! When we have a meet (which should come up soon), I'll bring my flute and we'll play duets! I started on flute, well really piano, but started band on flute and in my HS Sr. year my band director convinced me to play lead Tenor in the Jazz band, so I had awesome doubles. I went to college on a music major in flute, but in my Jr year I got in a car accident that made flute playing "difficult" so I switched my major to saxophone and graduated as a sax major. I had a special pro-flute made for me so that I can still play my flute, but if I have to play a regular flute it causes me real pain, when I play flute now, I use the "modified" flute, it still hurts afterwards but at least I can still play!

Hey, PIO can be our rhthym section playing guitar, Bonnie and Alicia will sing and then I'll do the back ups and when Alicia is not singing she can play flute. We have a band!

I can play piano and guitar; and hold a tune.

DH plays drums....we definitely have a band!

Wow! I had no idea every person on this thread was so musical!! We should debut at the American Adventure soon! :rotfl:

Honestly, I haven't played flute in years. The last time I played was in church for Easter and that's it. But I played flute since I was 11 and continued on until H.S. (I knew I was going to play sports and would not have anytime for band) so I took choir all 4 years in H.S.

I didn't either! How cool is that?

I think I might have a really big update tomorrow! :rolleyes1

Then you will love karaoke on your cruise! (I think they should have it on the Disney Cruise...never been on DCL, but other cruise ships have it, so they must have it too!). :thumbsup2

I played clarinet and alto saxophone in junior high school! Then I learned to sing in 9th grade, and stayed in chorus for 4 years. We went to Orlando twice, once in 9th grade and once in 11th grade, and competed in the All American Music Festival! We went to Disney and Universal!!! We came in 4th place in 9th grade, and we came in 1st place in 11th grade!!

I went into college (University of Maryland) as a Theatre major, for one semester. Then I switched to Romance Languages (concentration in Spanish & Italian), and then I decided to become a high school foreign language teacher. I taught at my old HS for 9 years, then switched to my current school, which has special programs in theatre, music and the arts. I love it there! :)

By the time any of you read this, it will have changed but I just noticed my post count. I thought I would make my 4,000th post here on my TR, even though there aren't as many readers as some of the other threads, I just thought it would be good to do here! :goodvibes

You should join us over in the games forum in the Lasting game! We're aiming to wrap it up this weekend, but many of our posters have been MIA so it's hard to push the thread along. You're just snarky enough that you would fit in well over there! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Congratulations on 4K.....

Your update?? Or are you aspiring to the heights of the Trippie that Hath no name? :rolleyes1

It's not that I need to have my tags before I can update, like someone else we know. I need tha points in my account so I can call member services! My BCV contract shows in my account, but not the points! Until the points get there MS will not even talk to me about availability! :sad2:

With my VWL the points showed up in my available points and the next day they were in my account. They showed up Monday in my available for the BCV but it has now been two days and no points in my account! AAAAAHHHHHHHH!

Hopefully tomorrow! I will be up on my smartphone early tomorrow even though I'm up late today because this is getting close! As soon as I can get into BCVI will update with our new itinerary but I'm in limbo and it's driving me nuts! If only a tag fairy could fix this mess! I better go to bed it's 2AM and I need to check my phone in about 4 hours to see if I have points and call MS to make reservations!

Yikes!

Yay! :yay: Everything has finally fallen into place!

Starting off with our trip in Oct-Nov 2011. Since the last time I posted an itinerary everything about our Disney part has changed. Here’s the new plan after we spend two nights at Loew’s Royal Pacific Hotel at Universal:

Catch DME back to the airport 10AM

We have a “different” kind of annual pass, but for the first time this year because of the whole Premier Pass thing, we can upgrade our DLR annual passes to a Premier Annual pass for about $265. That’s awesome news because we were already planning on purchasing WDW passes for our October trip since we wanted the TIW discount for 13 months. Now that we’re going twice this year it SOOOO makes our pass economical. In fact it really makes it work because we will use our TIW card in May 2011, Oct-Nov 2011 and again in May 2012. We are planning on coming back in Dec 2012 but we may forgo the TIW for that trip as we will eat in the room a lot and not do a lot of Signature dining…

So since my BCV contract still had 57 points in the current UY I was able to finalize the May trip as well. We did not get a studio at OKW like we planned, they were all booked up :sad2: We got a one bedroom! It took a lot longer than I thought it would and I had to run out to a medical appointment so I just got off the phone after making the two reservations without adding DME. I will do that tomorrow. So here is the finalized itinerary for the trip in May:

Thursday, May 12
Leave LAX at 10:30AM arrive MCO 6:15PM
Take DME to OKW (check into our 1 bedroom)
Ride the Boat to DTD/PI and have dinner at Paradisio 37

Friday, May 13
Check out of OKW, take the bus to MK, redeem our AP Vouchers and purchase TIW
Take the monorail to the GF for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (10:30 reservation)
Take the monorail to the Contemporary and check in for Destination-D
Go shopping in the Destination-D store!
Check in to BLT (room probably won’t be ready)
Head over to DHS since we didn’t get there last trip.
Get settled in room Cook Dinner (Baked Chicken, Stuffing & Gravy, Zucchini) Make some brownies for the weekend. And prepare meatloaf for Saturday night.
Go to Top of the World Lounge for Wishes Fireworks at 9PM

Saturday, May 14
Bagels & Yogurt for breakfast
Destination-D until noon
Chicken Salad Sandwiches, chips and brownies for lunch
Destination-D after noon
Cook Meatloaf, instant potatoes, and green beans
Return to Destination-D

Sunday, May 15
Bagels & Yogurt for breakfast
Destination-D until noon
Meatloaf Sandwiches, chips and brownies for lunch
Destination-D after noon
Spaghetti & Meat Sauce + salad for dinner
Return to Destination-D 8:30PM

Monday, May 16
Bacon & Eggs for breakfast
AK Park
Dinner at either Ctricos or Ohana’s we’ll decide as we get closer.

Tuesday, May 17
Who knows what we will do for breakfast?
We have a reservation at the Biergarten in Germany at Epcot for lunch around 12:00 noon
We need to catch DME at about 4PM to get back to the airport.

So there it is folks! Two trips almost all sewn up. Only thing left to do is schedule DME for both trips, and make all the dining reservations for the Fall trip. (Which I will have to do while I’m in DC on the day we are checking out of the hotel! :rotfl2:) Oh yeah and register for the two F&W seminars that I want to do. I sure hope they get some information out there soon!

Great news about your two trips! Your itinerary seems fantastic for both of them.

Roll on May! (After the Capital visit first, of course).

I am happy that everything is falling into place for you. The itineraries look great, you are going to have such a great time .
