I'm a meat & potatoes guy. Although I'm leaning toward the steak, it may be my third in as many days (Olivia's and LaCellier) and may be ready for something slightly different. Most reviews for the fried chicken are pretty positive (except for some noting it seemed salty to them) but I've never read anyone commenting on how moist or dry the chicken is. Can anyone comment? Are we talking buffet dry or KFC moist?

I didnt find it dry at all, it was moist....but also VERY salty! Table next to us said the same thing. Not sure if it was an off day. Had it not been that salty, i would have eaten more than 1.5 pieces. But I just couldnt continue. And im from Canada....we have a crazy amount of sodium in all of our foods! :lmao:

It's definitely moist. I never eat fried food but I do enjoy the chicken here once every few years. It's quite good IMO.

I had it back in February of this year. It was extremely moist and mighty tasty! I must have gotten lucky, as I'm very sensitive to salt but didn't notice it being too salty. I can say that it was more chicken than I could finish.... which was sad since it was so good!

I think they must have over-seasoned it that day. Every time I've gotten it, it was not too salty. There's only one dish I had that was over salted, and that was at a food and wine event dinner. Ick.

Usually the fried chicken there is very good, better than some of the fried chicken I can get locally.

I had the chicken there on our last trip in Mar 11 and it was very good.
Didn't find it too salty, and I'm also sensitive to salt.

I have been racking my little brain trying to figure out what PTC is. Where is this?

Thanks,

It was so moist that I commented on it. It was really great fried chicken last week. I'm from the South, and the only thing I would have done differently would have been to have fried it a bit darker. That's simply personal preference. It was perfectly done.

We had the fried chicken in May and it was delish..very moist and full of flavor

My DD20 and I shared the chicken in May and it was delicious! Also it really is enough for 2 people since you get 4 good sized pieces and 2 sides. We even had a piece leftover :)

i had the friend chicken and it was awesome!!! my bf had the tuna casserole and when i think of tuna casserole I think of it made with can tuna lol and it was made with an actual piece of Tuna this too was tasty!!

I've had it twice, once was awesome, once not so much but it was more a matter of just bad pieces of meat (or lack of meat). You say that you're a steak and potatoes person, but I should tell you the steak I had there was awful. It very well could be another instance of just the meat being crappy, but I asked for it medium and it came out medium well and had so much connective tissue in it I felt like I was dissecting it in science class. I didn't eat very much of it.

You get a breast, leg, wing, and thigh. The breast was tad dry, but all the other pieces were perfect. I thought it was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had and it sure beats KFC.
