PSB - 48 hrs

What are the chances of getting a PS for PSB for 8 48hrs. from the date? I already have ressies for 7 for 12/7 but the rest of our family decided to come later in the year (I am not giving up my ressie). I am going to call at 7 a.m. on the 5th from WL, what are my chances of at least being in the same room at the same time, if only for 5 mins. Thanks.

I think this person is saying that more family decided to come on vacation and they now need additional seating for the Princess Storybook Breakfast. They want to call 48 hours ahead of time I guess (although I don't think I understand THAT part) and see if PS can be made. Having tried to understand it all - I am guessing that the chances are slim.

I believe you must cancel PSB 48 hours ahead of time to not be charged. The OP wants to try that to get the rest of her family (a party of 8) into PSB at around the same time she is there--even if it is only for a 5 minute window.

To the OP - go ahead and try, it can't hurt. I'm going to try it for CRT in December as I'd like to go on a different day than I was able to schedule.

I would try at random times, not just wait until the 48-hour cancellation deadline. Some people cancel a week or two before going. Some even cancel the day or two after making the PS. I for one just got a PS for CRT 87 days out thanks to a fellow DISe's cancellation. (It was the fourth time I called in two days.) Just keep trying!

We have PS for Dec 12. Would love to go on 12/11 for my DS' birthday, but could go 12/10 as well.

I would definitely start calling at a week out...and, call sporadically throughout the day. I don't personally think calling at 7am on the 5th is going to get you anything more than calling at a later time of day.
