ds outgrows stuff so fast some of it's barely worn, BUT i have to tell him time and time again that no matter how good the condition of the underclothing or socks, despite the fact that 'yes, it's still useable' it is not something we put into the bag of stuff that gets passed on to friends or charity (he realy means well).

I remember the call from my SIL, her DD insisted she pass them down to my DD. She called to tell me about it as she could not talk her out of it, so I could dispose of them. BIL had dropped bags off and my DD started going through them and was thrilled they were in there.They were in great shape so I did not have the heart to tell we needed to throw them out.
