:wave2: Does anyone know if you can make PS requests if you are staying at HIFS??? or is it only allowed when staying at one of the 7 DTD hotels?? Thanks!

Anyone can book PS! Go! Enjoy! (and eat some for me!)

Thanks for the quick reply!! I actually just changed my reservation... from HIFS to the Royal Plaza... got an incredible rate for Presidents week... 119 per night with the 5th night free... even better than the mousesaver's rate... Couldn't believe it.. I am travelling with 5.. so it's difficult to stay onsite.... at least affordably... I usually stay at the Poly... but can't do it this time around.. sooooo had to look for alternatives.. this hotel looks great... although I am still a little shaky as to my decision.... and ideas either way?? Should I keep my HIFS ressie... or stick with my Royal Plaza option??? Any advice???

Valentine, I can't help you with your dilemma since I have not stayed at the Royal Plaza. You might want to change the title of your post to reflect your new questions. ;)

I can tell you that my kids love the HIFS! In fact, they preferred that hotel to Dixie AND Beach Club :earseek: I know that whatever you decide, you'll have a magical trip!

Like Debbie, I can't help with your specific dilemma but I can tell you that my kids preferred HIFS over Port Orleans (both French Quarter and Riverside). Good luck.

Thanks for the replies :p I am still tossing around both... and figure I have time to cancel... and before I do.. I will post to let people know there will be a ressie opening up!! at whichever I DON'T use.... Have a good day everyone!

I've stayed at both hotels before (I can't believe how much I've gone to Disney)

For a family of 5, I think the royal plaza rooms are too small. We actually only stayed there for 1 night because we arrived a day early with good airfare.

I really hated it. Though I know other people like Royal Plaza. It seemed no better than a budget motel room to me. It wasn't worth the price. You'll have more room and a better stay at HIFS with your group size. Compared to double tree, I'm not sure. The double tree is like a one bedroom suite. Very spacious, and you can't beat the free cookies :hyper: It's just a question of whether you need time to yourself in the evening.
