We leave in two months and four days. Can I make PS ressie's 60 days in advance? What about the rain forest cafe, is it the same number or a different one? I am planning ariel's grotto and maybe goofy's kitchen...Also what about preferred seating for fantasmix, is there setting other then the balcony and if so what number is that and how many days out?

Yes, you can make PS 60 days in advance for most sit-down restaurants. In most cases, you should not have to call this far in advance, especially in the off season. The number for PS is 714/781-DINE except for the RF Cafe. If you call 781-DINE, a recording will tell you the separate number for the RF Cafe.

You can read more about the Fantasmic dessert buffet on the sticky thread FAQs. The number for Fantasmic reservations is 714/781-4400. You must call exactly 1 month in advance -- the same day of the month as the show you are trying to get ressies for. (ie. call Dec. 28 for Jan. 28 show). Start calling using redial a little before 8AM PST. There are around 21 seats on the balcony, and more riverside. Due to the very limited number of seats and the very high demand, the show books instantaneously, at least for the balcony. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, you may want to look into Disney's Vacation Planning service; they may be able to get you Fantasmic reservations, but you will want to call them around 37 days out.

Just a heads up - even though the rules say 60 days out, they really mean two months. For our Goofy's Kitchen booking in November I called on the 13th of Sept for the 12th of November. I was told that reservations had started the day before, even though that was 59 days out, not 60. The CM said that they just go day number to day number (in this case 12th to 12th) and ingore the months with 31 days. The end result was that we couldn't get a table when we wanted to.

We ended up getting a PS at different time and had a blast so it all worked out in the end! Just something to keep in mind... :flower:

60 days = 2 months
30 days = 1 month

my question is what about if you want a PS for say April 29 or 30th and you are suppose to call 2 months in advance but there are only 28 days in February.

The CM I spoke to said they just go by the day number....good point...there is no 29th or 30th of Feb in that case. I guess you can book on the 28th?? That might be worth a call to ask Disney Dining :confused3 .
