Tomorrow morning (my time) I'm going to call the Disney dining line and book some PS's for me and my DBF, we'll be there between the 1st and 10th of March.

I'm booking the Blue Bayou for lunch one day, the Napa Rose for dinner some night and Rain Forest cafe for one or the other.

I figured if we tried for 11:30am at BB we should hopefully get a waterside table. Are there any hints, or good ideas about booking for the other two?

Any other suggestions on places we should consider getting PS's? We're generally going to do eating on the cheap, except for the few times that we'll go to restaurants, so I don't want to book too many, but having said that we probably wont be back to Disney for a long time, so I want to make the most of our time there.

I don't really want to go to any character meals because - don't hurt me - I am scared stiff of people in big character costumes and stuff :scared1: No really they give me nightmares and I freeze up when I see one heading my way... :lmao:

BTW, I just can't believe that it's time to book PS's already! I thought I'd never get this close to my holiday!

I'm not sure if you know, but to make PS for the Rainforest Cafe you call them directly, not the Disney Dining number. When I called them they said they would make them up to a year in advance.

I would give another vote to the Rain Forest Cafe. Wonderful food, atmosphere and service there, and it would be cheaper then going to character meals and its much easier to get reservations. :thumbsup2

How did you go???? Were you able to get the times you needed?

Yay! All done! It's making the holiday feel so close!

I'e got a lunch reservation at the Blue Bayou for 11:40am on a Tuesday. I've got a Wine Country Trattoria dinner reservation for 6:30pm on a Sunday, I've got a rain forest cafe dinner reservation (thanks for the heads up on the reservation for this one Anna - the number is 714 772 0413 for anyone wanting it) for 7pm on a Thursday and a 6:30pm Napa Rose reservation for a Friday!

Oooh, I can't wait! I'm now officially excited! Who am I kidding? I've been excited since I booked the flights 5 months ago! :woohoo:

I was going to suggest Wine Country but I see you already added it. I've always booked ADR (PS) when we go to WDW but only recently have I been doing PS at DLR. I've only done it for lunch at WCT but it's worked out really well. Even if I only book 1 hr. before eating (that's the cut-off time) it has saved us time. Several times I've booked for 12:30 ish at about 11:30 (from either my cel phone on the phone located outside of guest services in DCA) and then when it's time for our ADR we've walked up and been seated almost immeadiately with many people waiting. I've heard some ask, "how come they get to go right in....." and the CM has told them because they had reservations. I love it. :lovestruc My point is, even the day you are there, you can book an ADR. I've done it, and it's worked great.

Hope you have a wondrufl trip! :wizard:

Thanks Disneydaz, I have to keep that in mind for when we're there, we may have more money then we are expecting by the time we're there, so more restaurants might be on the cards...
