My DS just purchased his first house today. I am sooo proud of him especially since he's only 22 and he is also single. You have to remember that we are talking about a boy who up until a year ago still lived at home and mom packed his lunch every day for him to take to work. Plus he had never done a load of his own laundry in his life. It's really sad how fast our kids grow up, and was even sadder is how we feel when they have such great accompishments in their lives. I never thought I would be such a mushy mom. Thanks to all of you DIS for letting me vent about this very emotional subject for me. Theres only 1 problem, my DS house is 100 miles from mine. (that makes me a little sad)

Aww, how bittersweet! Some days I would almost buy my kids their own house (they are teens), but I know when the day comes, I will be a mess.
