We are arriving at MCO at around 9:30 p.m.

Baggage guarantee is 1-3 hours. That means that by the time we get to the hotel, it might be really, really late before the luggage arrives. Our plan is to head out to the parks early Saturday morning.

Alternative: Pick up our luggage ourselves and proceed to ME staging area.

Any opinions if this is worth it???

We usually do a town car transport with a grocery store stop but am thinking about using a grocery service. It is the water that I can not abide by at WDW.

Calling all ME experts!

Thanks,
penny

Our flight is scheduled to arrive around 10:00 p.m. and we're using ME. We'll carry an overnight bag with us on the plane along with a few other carry-ons, and we'll check the rest of our luggage.

Upon arrival at our resort, I'll ask the bell service staff to hold off on the delivery of our checked luggage until the next morning (unless they're in a position to deliver right away).

I doubt there are many guests who want their luggage delivered at 2:00 a.m., so I think it will be common to wait until the next morning.

We used ME on its first official day - May 5th. We arrived at MCO at 7:45 pm and at our resort, OKW, at about 9:00 pm. We did not have our bags by 10:30 pm so I called the front desk and asked that they be held until morning. When I woke up at 6:00 am and called the desk the bags were there and delivered to our room by 6:15. Just a suggestion of what you could do.

I thought I read on someone else's trip report that its resort policy to not automatically deliver bags after 11pm. If your bags arrive after then they'll leave a message on your phone and if you wish to have your bags delivered at 2am, you can! They'll deliever it whenever you call.
