Pros and Cons of PBH????

We will be at PBH in June...What great advise can you give about PBH?? We have a deluxe pool veiw booked.... Can you walk to the parks??? What are some great room locations?? thanks...amy

Yes, you can walk to the parks from PBH. It's a lovely 10-12 minute walk. As I'm sure you know, you can also take the water taxi. We had a deluxe pool view room with a terrace. It wasn't exactly at ground level - kind of hard to explain. You can't actually walk out to the pool, but it's a terrace rather than a balcony. We loved this room, however, it was a LONG walk from the elevators. I'm sorry I don't remember the room number.

We enjoyed our stay at PBH very much. It is very calm and relaxing after a busy day at the parks. Everything about this hotel is first class.

The Portofino is beautiful. Very peaceful after a day at the parks. Service is wonderful. We enjoyed eating at Mama Della's. It has wonderful Italian food, a great, comfortable atmosphere and incredible timarisu! Sal's deli has great pizza and huge (a bit pricey) sandwiches.

The only con is the hotel is large and very spread out and I get lost easily. But the plus side is it's fun to walk around and explore the different areas.

As far as room locations we prefer the west wing, bayview. It's closer to the boat dock and beach pool.
