Only two more days til we leave! :cool1:

Starting to think about what to pack (ok I admit it what laundry to do).

We have ADRs for the CA Grill and for Bistro de Paris-- what kind of dress do you recommend? Dressy? Casual? Something inbetween? We'll be in the parks all day and we're staying off site so going back to the hotel to change is out.

TIA,

Jessica

I believe there is a dress code at California Grill. I think it's "business casual" but I can't really remember the official definition of that right at the moment. If you do a search, you'll find some posts about it.

Bistro de Paris is park attire, no dress code.

Business casual for the cali grill. No ties or anything needed. A polo shirt with a collar for the guys along with some good chino's or something like that is fine. No baithing suits and flip flops or cut offs or tank tops or stuff like that. Oh some have gotten up there under dressed like that, but they get stared at. You can actually go all out shirt and ties and jackets if you want. It wouldn't be out of place or anything.

That dress code has been extended to the other signature restaurants, including Artist Point and Flying Fish.

Disney's business casual also includes "dress shorts" and "jean pants".
Based upon recent reviews, dress code enforcement has been selective--or non-existant.
Jessmela: Just curious about what --if anything--they said about a dress code when you made your ADR"s at these places??

Actually Bistro requests business casual as well.

How do you know what restaurants require certain dress?

Bottom line, the Signature restaurants. Jiko, YSH, Bistro, Flying Fish, Narcooses, Citrico's, CG, AP are all Signature--I think I might be forgetting one.

I was surprised to see Narcoosse's included, having always thought of it as a deliberately casual, fine restaurant. However, the dress code, itself, is so "casual" that I suppose it does make sense for Narcoosse's as well.

I don't think you're missing any -- the only deluxe resort that doesn't have a signature restaurant is the Poly (considering YC/BC as one resort).
