Promotional Changes

I read last week that someone heard the current promotion for the $1500 off new contracts was ending on teh 7th- anyone hear if that is really happening? Thanks

No it's not ending, at least not according to what I heard. The current-member's promo ends this Friday, I believe. We just signed up last Friday and I was told that was the last day for the cash-back w/points available June 1st this year. The cash-back is still available but now it will be with August 1st points. Also, the cash back depends on how many points you buy, with $1500 being the minimum (I think).

Just sort of an educated guess, but I think that $10/point discount (not MB) usually ends when they start opening up more buildings. Right now, folks are buying into SSR but not getting any points until Summer, so the $10 is offered to overcome that.

But please don't base the timing of a $25,000 purchase on my ramblings....

Thanks guys- Don't worry, DrT, I won't base that decision only on you! I'm just closing on my refinance of my home and will be putting a good bit down and thought I'd wait until I had the whole down payment instead of just the $500. I know it's 6 in one hand and 1/2 dozen in the other, but wanted to be safe rather than sorry- thanks to both of you!

Hey, if you might miss the discount, then put down just the $500. It is refundable if you decide to back out later, and you will be able to lock in the goodies you want.

We just left a message for our DVC Guide. She will not be in the office until Sunday 1/9 but her message said she would be checking her messages often as there is a big change to the incentive program starting after the close of business on Saturday 1/8. She did not mention what the change is.

The mailing I received before Christmas about the free tickets says that the free 1 day ticket with a 50 point purchase plus 1 additional ticket for every other 25 point purchase, as well as the free AP offer with a 130 point add on is ending on the 8th. I was just looking at it the other day wishing I could add on.

It doesn't say anything about the $10 off ending.

We went ahead and put our $500 down but I haven't heard of any changes other than the current owner promo ending.
