Do they have specialty coffees in the promenade lounge on disney magic? Is it similar to vista cafe on the fantasy? I haven't been on the magic in many years! Thank you!

Promenade Lounge does not offer coffee. There is only one coffee shop on the classics.

My daughter and I have been able to order some espresso drinks at Promenade Lounge on the Magic (e.g, a vanilla latte) but there may not be as great a variety as at Cove Cafe. Unlike Vista on the Dream/Fantasy, Promenade Lounge does not have complimentary desserts.

But they do often have chips and salsa in the afternoon. Or at least they did the last two times we were on the Magic. Once we sat at one of the tables by the big portholes and the server brought us some when he brought our drinks. I then looked and saw that they had it out on a table by the bar and then noticed that it was there every afternoon and on our next cruise as well.

Additionally, in the morning there is usually croissants and fruit.

The promenade also offers an excellent wine every night, either white or red. I think it’s sommelier choice. It’s 10 a glass and you don’t know what it is until you order. Ive gotten two of the reds on different days. Very good, excellent pour and good value.

AKA whatever isn't selling.

Not necessarily. It is bottles that did not sell the entire bottle and have a glass or two left. It is OFTEN the case that you get a much more expensive wine for the sommelier's bin price! And if by chance it's a rare one that is less, you are charged the lower price.

We have ordered espresso drinks (latte, cappuccino) from Promenade lounge. They have a small coffee menu but not as large a selection as Cove Cafe. They brought us little cookies with our coffee the last time we had coffee there.

Wow this sounds amazing...does this happen only during certain times like a happy hour type of thing?

It's at the bottom of the wine list, so it's available all the time when they have open bottles. It was $11 last summer on the Magic. They also have 'sparkling' as a choice, which I went with. The bartender offered me either a Brut or a Rose. I got the Rose which turned out to be a glass of Tattinger Prestige Rose which they were selling for $20/glass if you had chosen that specifically! So I saved $9!
