She was surprised! I told her on the way home from school and her face was priceless. Of course, I didn't have my camera. Her party was great! Thanks for asking!

After a long absence due to "life", I FINALLY made it back to Planet Fitness today so I took a picture of my well-worn sneakers and will journal about my quest to get healthy and the obstacles in my way/weigh.

well what I wanted to take a picture of was me using the wii fit to exercise the dog...of course since I was jogging in circles around the downstairs with one dog on a leash (and really not happy about the whole experience) and the wii remote in the other hand and then the other dog having a great time running along behind me.... that picture didn't get taken. Took a picture of dd's irish dance trophies instead.

My new cell phone. Since having teenage daughters has turned DH into a texting nut, I needed a new phone with a keypad to be able to keep up with him. It just got too frustrating with my old phone. My new one is red too - my favorite color.

I've been thinking about getting one with a keypad too...just to keep up with the kids. They are so fast, and laugh at me it takes me so long to answer!

Don't even MENTION cell phones to me! We "gave" DD texting as a belated Christmas gift and now she is driving me NUTS because she wants a new phone with a keyboard! I keep telling her that I will NOT be buying her a new phone, so she has been searching Ebay and Craigslist for one that she can buy for herself. I am hesitant about her spending $100 (give or take) on a used phone, but I won't stop her... it's her money. We just re-upped our Verizon contract this past July, so we won't be eligible for new phones for a while now.

Anyhoooo.... my Wed picture was kind of scary... It was of ME! (Well, from the neck down anyhow.) I have never taken any before or during pictures of myself during this weight loss journey I am on... I have about 19 pounds left to reach my goal, so I took an "almost there" picture. Icky and scary and flabby and pale and pasty! But I did it. Maybe someday I will be glad I did. I figure someday I will look at the picture and think either "Wow.... I was so fat!" OR "Wow.... I wish I looked that good again!". HOpefully it will be the former........................P
