Will take a photo of my kids enjoying their last day of summer vacation.. it's back to school tomorrow... *although mom is kind of excited..until about noon...than I'll be waiting anxiously for them to come back home!*

Got one of dd10 sitting in the chair at the eye dr's this morning during our appointment. Told him why I was taking a picture and he thought the project was cool!

Wow, back to school already? It's in the 80's here and we are heading to the pool soon. Our kids didn't get out until almost the end of June tho so we are off until 9/2 & 9/9...still not enough time to get everything done.

Yes, we got out May 28th..and we are back to school by 8/11.... we can no longer in the state of Indiana have 1/2 days count as days of school...so our kids now have to go 180 FULL days of school.. (1/2 days were used for parent/teacher conferences, staff inservices and such ~ now they have to figure that out)... The only advantage I see to this is they still have our snow days built in...and this year for fall break (which is also conferences) we have 3 days of school off and the weekend...so we have a 5 day holiday.... (I priced Disney..and I can go for the same price for 8 days in the summer... so we are waiting til summer).

Our annual lobster dinner (really lunch.) We usually go earlier in the summer but it just hasn't felt like summer here until recently. Lobster, fried clams, steamers and the best onion rings in the world. Yum!
