problems with burning dvds using idvd 5

I'm having problems burning dvds with idvd 5. I've edited a 30 min video using final cut pro 5. I've exported the video to quicktime so i can burn it to dvd using idvd 5. it will start, but at some point gets 'stuck' in which i either have to force quit or restart my system. if anyone's encountered this problem and has any suggestions, i'd appreciate it.

just so you know, below are my system specs:

Mac AGP Graphics G4
Power PC 1.2Ghz processor
1.75 GB SDRAM
