Pro Bowl 2017 events

I'm two weeks away from my ADR day so of course I'm in panic mode to get our schedule set "perfectly" so that I can adjust it constantly for the next six months....

Anyway, after booking and THEN hearing that the Pro Bowl is going to be in town and have events on Disney property we figured our only plan of action is to avoid them as much as possible. To each their own, but we could not possibly care less about seeing any of this stuff.

That said, has anyone seen an actual schedule of these events so that I would know what parks to avoid on which days? Some light googling only brought up that they are happening, not when during the week. The one I am particularly trying to avoid is the parade of players at the MK. Any guesses what day something like that might happen?

i've seen Kenny the Pirate suggest that the parade is going to be at MK on 1/28 (not sure how he knows or if he knows for sure)

We did the same thing, KyGirl - booked and then found out about ProBowl. Now we are also hoping to avoid the planned activities. We check out on the 28th, so I really hope that helps. Two weeks to ADR for us, too!

P.S. I'm worried that ProBowl will make ADRs difficult to get. Hope I'm wrong.

Although I'm a football fan, I have no worries that this event is going to cause problems for WDW guests. Because for the most part, *no one cares about the Pro Bowl*.

Yeah, if you have no interest in football, probably steer clear of MK the day of the parade, and see if there are any other specific Pro Bowl related activities in the parks that you might wish to avoid.

Otherwise, I agree with cigar that this will probably be a minor issue at worst.

That's totally my plan. I just can't find a schedule of these events! And of course, in typical Disney fashion, we're coming up on 180 days from the week of the event.

Otherwise, I agree with cigar that this will probably be a minor issue at worst.

I read that in the other post and I so hope that's true. This was definitely one of those teeth grinding moments when I heard the big announcement.

Well that's promising (selfishly) as that's actually the day we'll be leaving.

I wouldn't worry about it. Everything but the parade will most likely be a Wide World of Sports. During the parade, think of how empty the ride queues will be!

Wow, I thought Bud Grant eventually got a ring, but I see the Vikings are 0-4 and haven't been back in about 40 years.

I just found out about the Pro Bowl! We are changing our plans from end of February to January 21-30! We are a family of football fanatics, so we plan on watching the parade. Even our little girls are hoping for a chance to see JJ Watt! Lol!
