We have a private cruise booked out of the Poly for Wishes. I have the info on contacting the dining people but I'm wondering has anyone ever done on this and ordered food? I'm thinking we'd want to have some champagne, maybe light snacks, and a custom cake but wasn't sure what the experience was like.

Any info is appreciated - or even just feedback on the cruises alone!

With enough advance notice, they can do that for you, and it will be very nice.
(It will be quite costly, of course.)

I know it can be done & that it will cost moola, I'm just looking for feedback from anyone that has done it to determine if it's worth it

We did this in October on our last visit. The "menu" wasn't that extensive, but I ordered cookies, Mickey rice crispy treats, chocolate covered strawberries, and a cheese & nut platter. Everything was on the boat when we arrived, wrapped nicely with cling wrap.
The boat provides sodas, bottled water, and various types of bagged chips and pretzels.
I was pleased with the set up, and would do it again. Hope this helps :)

Perfect - thank you so much!

We have done a meal when on the Grand 1 and just a custom cake and snacks on the pontoon boat. Just be sure that everything is there before you leave. One year I had to remind the guides of the cake and to bring the blankets they supply when it is cold.

Awesome! I was thinking of surprising everyone with a custom cake. I'm glad to know it can be done!

I requested the menu to order from Poly for our October Wishes cruise from Poly. I got a generic very limited room service menu that didn't include chocolate covered strawberries (wanted those and champagne). Guess I need to call again.

For the Wishes & the Illumination cruises, it is not per hour, and as far as I know, price dose not vary according to date. It probably lasts a little longer than an hour, as they take you on a tour along the lake prior to the fireworks. If seeing Wishes, right after the show, the captain repositions the boat so you can then also watch the electrical water pageant.
I've done both Wishes & Illuminations multiple times, and at various times of the year, and the pricing has always been the same

We have done at various times as well and our Halloween, NYE and July 4th have had premium princing. The pontoon was over $600 last year.

The quote you the flat rate of around $350 this does not include tax, the cruise is supposed to be around one hour but does often go a bit over. Our most recent was February of this year

The pricing has gone up since this post. No surprise there. Disney does not list pricing because it changes very frequently.
