Private party at Animal Kingdom!!!

I am so excited!!! I will be going to Orlando on business in March of 2005. Our company always has an "entertainment night". Over the years we have been in Sea world twice and Universal Studios twice. It's great because we go in after the park closes to the general public around 6 or 7 pm until anywere from 9 to 11 pm. It's private and they set up open bars and food stations (included in our ticket price) around the parks. Characters always are on hand to mingle with us. Yes, kids come but not so many that lines form for photo's, its a lot more low key. Usually not all the rides or shows are open, but that's ok since we only have around 4 to 5 hours.

OK now for the exciting news......

THIS YEARS "ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT" WILL BE HELD AT ANIMAL KINGDOM!!!!!



I have no details other than friday night 6:30pm to 10pm.

I cant wait!!! I just had to share my happy news.

One trip we were there and the CMs were very nicely, escorting everyone out of the park at closing. No shopping or poking allowed. Time was up !

They were already setting up for a private party. They had all kinds of tables set up so nice in the Oasis area. They were tucked everywhere on the paths with linens and china and all.

It was just beautiful and we were just a tad bit jealous !

Oh wow, lucky you, that is SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!! My dh is going to Orlando for a business trip soon, and he may stop by WDW, I'm so envious!!

Oh, that is awesome. On our '98 trip, we were there for dh to attend Lotusphere & they did the same thing at MGM. It was incredible!

Well my family own's an Ace Hardware store. Twice a year Ace Hardware holds conventions were thousands of dealers and thousands of venders get together for four days at the (we go all over the country) convention center for ording products.

I would guess about a couple thousand people will attend the party that night. Still a lot of people but we all feel like family since we all have the common interest of owning Ace stores. We meet up with old freinds (made at previous conventions) from around the country and always make new ones...not to mention how much fun we have after 4 hard days of working and then they set up open bars!!!

I have also done this at MGM, at Christmas time...almost 4 years ago. It was amazing, we had the whole park to ourselves, certain rides were open and we had a great showing of the osborne lights!! I think that was my highlite!! We have also had the private party at universal 2x, but MGM took the cake.
This was all done thru an autobody convention in orlando (my parents own one)...on a side note, we also had a private (my guess, less than 1000 people) concert with the beach boys the same year as I went to MGM. Some of these companies and associations do go all out!!!
