Private Mixology classes ending?

You can't prebook tastings/mixology/etc. anyway, unless you're part of a private class set up by a cruise group. Just book when you get onboard. On Dream Class ships the signup is usually somewhere in the bar area. Last couple of times it has been in La Piazza on the Fantasy when I've gone. If you're Concierge, they can set up all your tastings for you.

You can also sign up 24/7 at guest services. They have a list of all of the available classes and how many vacancies are left, but they might not volunteer that information unless you ask them. For instance, if you say, "I'd like a Mixology class," they might say, "OK, Tuesday at 1PM." But if you say, "can you tell me all of the available Mixology classes," they will rattle off a whole list and you can pick the one that works best with your schedule.

Look in the Navigator you get in the terminal at check in. In there it will list where/when the reservations are being taken for the classes. Go there as soon as you board to get the best choices.

so i dealt with Alma a lot, we are leaving this weekend, and i had to book 10 classes - it got out of hand quickly.... and she never said anything about cancellations. some do fall on port days, but its after everyone is back on ship roughly 5pm. and most are on Sea days.
Yes there is always juggling with Palo brunch, dinner, special character breakfasts or meet n greets... our group is over 400 people...

Saw a note in our group about a private mixology class from DCL for the December 4th sailing out of Miami on the Magic:

"We regret that we no longer offer mixology on sea days, please check with group if any of the Port Days will work"

i am on your same sailing, we have a private mixology i think at 4:30...maybe on the key west port day

Private mixology classes are set up though a group. Usually your Cruise Meet group will have someone who will be the organizer of the group and will contact DCL about setting up a class for only their people.
