Hey,
I'd like to propose to my girlfriend either during supper at Narcoossee's or shortly after somewhere around the Grand Floridian Resort. She said that she does not want a crowd when I propose so what I'd like to know is if there are any private or secluded dining areas in Narcoossees?

Thank you,

There's a porch around the outside of the place with a view towards the MK....so long as it wasn't the same time as fireworks that might work.

Narcoosee's is essentially one big open semi-circle. The closet you can get to semi-private would be the far end table (from the entrance) on the upper level or extreme lower level. The outside verandah just to the left if the entrance door might work as well.

or you could always follow up dinner by a walk outside to the beach area...if you could time it around the fireworks you could have privacy and a wow factor at the same time.

you might want to look at a grand floridian resort thread...one with pictures would give you a good look at the grounds etc... to better be able to plan where you want to be at for the proposal. might make making the decision easier.

My son arranged for Private Dining at GF for his proposal. He chose the Citricos menu; I'm not sure if Narcoosees is available. They were on a balcony in the main building, just the two of them plus their server.

The restaurant itself is noisy. As another poster said the furthest table away from everyone is upstairs, but that table is huge and would be for like 6 people plus it is right next to the bar and depending on what is happening it could be crowded and noisy.

We were eating dinner right at the next table and I would consider it as unromantic as you could get. They put us there for our anniversary, needless to say we had a horrible meal and a a horrible atmosphere to go with it. We have not returned there.

I would try the beach too during fireworks. Or maybe right on the boat dock itself during fireworks. If you try on the deck people leave their meals to go watch the fireworks as well as other people coming to the resort aka a crowd and non private.

Congrats and good luck planning.
