Priority viewing area for dreams questions

Can anyone tell me if the priority viewing area for Dreams has priority spaces for disabled guests? DS is disabled and as there are 4 of us, we can't all sit together in the usual disabled area (they only allow 1 adult and 2 kids), and so I was going to book a priority meal, so we could all be together to watch Dreams, whilst DS is seated in his buggy, with DS hopefully being able to see, if people aren't standing in front of him. He can't walk and we can't lift him up for long periods of time as he's too heavy.

Also, does the priority viewing area have seats, or is it standing only? If it's standing room only, I'm not sure how DS would be able to see.

Can anyone shed any light?
Hope I've made myself clear!

wish i cud help.... tbh i wondered where the disabled viewing area wud b in general - if they have one......

i think we will have to wait for more ppl to return with reports from this, or maybe phone the restaurant bookin line to ask???

The only seats in this area are a couple of benches that face across the plaza. I will double check the area for you but as I recall ( we had the Dreams meal on Monday, the only real advantage was space. There are people stood in front of this area.

Was the view worth it? Or did the people in front block some of it?

Thanks for the info, Happydays.
I want to know the answer to lilacgems question too!

I'll be gutted if DS doesn't get to see Dreams properly, especially as he's the reason we're going to Disney. The complete sensory experience that Disney offers him, always seems to bring him on, and we see improvements in his ability to respond and process stuff after a Disney trip.

I went to City Hall today to inquire. They confirmed that they are reviewing the disabled provision and valued input from visitors.
I think we will try 'our' spot again tonight - the railings near the Adventureland entrance, in front of the prickly bush, close to the little-used path. (will post pics when data allowance permits. The 'experience' here was amazing!!!!!

The view from the meal VIP slot is no better than any other slot IMO. Just more space which would be good if the park was really busy.

ooh yes please :goodvibes! Exact directions too, thats what we like :).

Thanks for inquiring at City hall, it's appreciated. :)

I've just booked a priority meal at Silver Spur, mainly because my kids won't handle queueing for a spot, and I think we stand more chance of a good view with less of a wait with the meal.

happy days - thank u so much for the checking!!!!:goodvibes

the area wud be no good for us as the meal wud be throwin money away (ds2 too hard) but if the disabled area was in a good position so he can see wud help...

i can see the advantage of extra space in the area, but not if u have ppl in front of u??? :confused3 guess they are still workin things out - still early days....
